No, desktop
Ok
How much was it and how good is it
Well prebuilt, and I think I paid maybe $900 for it not counting the monitor. Imo it's good, but that's just my opinion lol
I've heard the cpu is probably weaker than it could've been for the price but whatever
Do you play any video games on it or use blender
That sucks
I only do X-Plane as far as games, and have never done blender
If you could X-Plane as a game haha
Hmm
What CPU do you have
^
i5-9400f
Depends on how you play it I suppose. Sim enthusiasts get uptight about the difference between sim and game
Hello Smoky
Hello
I play mainly as a sim since I am an aspiring pilot haha
Anyway I was asking because my laptop is a piece of crap I'm planning on upgrading but wanted to get some ideas on what I should buy
What’s your budget
Budget makes the difference
I would like it to be $1,000 but the longer I wait the more I can spend on it
I would prefer a laptop
Also, gaming/high demand programs or just regular laptop things whatever that might be. Sorry for so many questions lol
I would like a laptop that I can game on
Idrk anything about laptops so I'll let smoky handle this xd
I’d have to look more into it, but for around $1000 I believe you can get a decent gaming laptop with a 1650 GPU 8-16 gb of ram
Processor idk maybe a Ryzen 5 3600 or whatever the intel equivalent is
Laptops you also have to be careful because lots of them come with barely any storage like just 256 gb SSD or whatever
Okay thanks! Would you recommend me waiting until I can spend more money on one?
Definitely^^
Ok lol
Possibly. I believe $1200-1300 is a pretty sweet spot for in between mid and high gaming end laptops
Covid might have changed that though idk
Because of demand
And supply
Yep
Just don’t pay 1300 for a 1650 super
Lots of $1300 with 1650s
That’s what we call over priced
Also recommend at least 16gb of ram for best performance with modern games/multi tasking.
