Yeah. They think Thornton will fix all their problems. I’m sorry, but that’s simply not true. They tried playing Marleau and Spezza with the young guns which they thought would magically bring them a Stanley Cup, and that failed miserably. Now Thornton? Only idiots repeat things that didn’t work. Brodie is also another Tyson Barrie, except he’s being paid more, and for a longer term.

Also, running Sheldon Keefe as head coach won’t work either.

kirby dach looks amazing in the return to play round. i think the Blackhawks will be retooling for the next 2-3 years. it kind of surprised me that Kane & Toews were surprised that the team is about to head into the rebuilding mode, though?

sheldon keefe is okay. we gave babcock a few years to test out the position, so we might give keefe a year or two, too. I don't know if the changes the team made are enough, but the team should be more brutal and physical for the upcoming years. (Spezza is good, though. Such a good dude, I just don't know if his impact on the team young guns is enough?)
