i would keep quiet and keep my job lol
but when they fire me hehehe
nhl owners had been losing money and pressuring the players to take more cuts. not sure how the talks are going so far but a lockout seems inevitable
They probably going to have another lockout, maybe the VGK expansion was not the best plan
Expansions should only happen when all teams are profiting big
tbf, not many people watches hockey during summer. so maybe that's why. comparing nhl to nba/mbl, the woke stuff is considerably less
seattle is still giving money for their expansion fee, to my understanding. but with the lockdown "supposedly" lifting next year, things should shimmer down a bit
Hopefully
agree. big charities are notorious for money laundering and are often less effective than small, local ones
Yep, investing in the local area is usually always better
bettmans gotta get a good tv contract for nhl games, only way for them to get big
Sports/ entertainment should take people mind of the real world. I don't want to be reminded on what's happening in the world. I'm trying to relax
He also wants to expand in the us market cuz yhe us dollar is more valuable. Which is why it baffled me that he still investing money into arizona <:KEK:726877368601411624>
yea ig
idk where else they could have a team though
Quebec <:KEK:726877368601411624>
no in the us lol]
Just to play the devil advocate here, but sports had always have some political elements under it.
Houston is an okay spot to try out
Races of the players? Yeah. Ie. Black boxers. Or certain ethinicities are not allowed to participate in the olympic back in Hitler's era
or even in sa not too long ago
Yeah. Having a rival to dallas would be pretty good
@isoboto they should put a team where its would be the only major team or one other team, thats why LV is doing so good
I'm still surprised Milwaukee doesn't have a team but maybe too close to Chicago and Minnesota
It also should be analyze why vegas was able to success, too. A lot of the expansion teams are scraping the bottom rn
Part of it could be timing. VGK was the first thing for the city to really behind after that shooting
There are a lot of places nhl could try that are more hockey/sport-hub
And they still haven't had a bad season
With the way they are trading everybody and having kneejerk reaction to losses, idk if their success is sustained
their success wont be sustained, they got the expansion luck, but will hit their low soon
happens to every team in every league
just look at ATL United in MLS, came into the league powerhouses, but will fall eventually
Considering in 2 years they've managed to be my teams biggest rival you love to see it
ATL United didn't make the playoffs this year, right?
I dont think so, but the MLS season was so messed up it could be counted as a fluke
btw rip logan paul and jake paul
they wanna box mayweather and mcgreggor
what happened to the both of them now
oh
