I think either they need to go back to the BCS system or go straight to an 8-16 team playoff ASAP. It’s apparent that this 4 team thing doesn’t work at all
Honestly, I'd like to see some sort of European promotion and relegation system, where teams like Cincinnati can be moved into the big 10 for winning their conferences, and teams like Rutgers who suck get moved down
That would be cool
However it’d be hard to do cuz they’re mainly region based
Ye
But it might be possible
They'd have to give each conference an affiliate and rebrand them a bit
Like say make the MAC the affiliate of the Big 10, then put "Big 10" region teams in it
Yeah
Makes it also incredibly important to not be the worst team so you don't get demoted lol
Clemson & Oklahoma have won their conferences every year since 2015, Ohio State every year since 2017
*chuckles nervously* i totally don't lowkey support boston
lol
spoiled ass city
xD
they beat the leafs a lot tho <:KEK:726877368601411624> anything to send toronto misery makes me happy
Toronto losing is just kind of funny
although they are gonna stink this year so i'm looking forward to that 😔
I don't much care for Vegas either
rumour says this is FINALLY the year. i've got beer ready to laugh at all the leafs tears
Toronto Maple Leafs: Professional Hockey's Dallas Cowboys
vegas is also in cap hell after that Pietrangelo contract too
sharing the lolcow of the decades title with each other <:KEK:726877368601411624>
I kind of feel like Vegas has gone from the lovable underdog to the entitled asshole very quickly xD
with that kind of success in the first year? yes 😂
i mean i like that they're being successful, but still. they give off the "i've big money and i know it" vibe
I get this feeling that the NHL wanted them to be good to avoid another Coyotes situation
that's what they're hoping for seattle, too. although at the beginning a lot of people predicted vegas was gonna be hell. some people say it's the timing of vegas's entrance, but i wasn't sure how nhl actually would control that
Well back in the day the expansion draft rules were not kind at all
We'll see how Seattle does with their
"Climate Pledge Arena"
oh boy. i'm excited to see whether seattle actually lives up to the hype or be another coyotes <:KEK:726877368601411624> . my bet is they won't, frankly because the projected possible picks from teams don't look good, but maybe they pull another vgk-magic out of their ass
If Vegas won the stanley cup in their first year I bet places like Vancouver, Buffalo and Minnesota would have been mega pissed
The fact that they went soooo far for a brand new franchise though. A lot of teams were pissed
Vegas is already my least favorite team and that's quite impressive given my disdain for both Anaheim and LA
And their exception to the Seattle draft doesn't sit well with me despite the fact they won't get money out of it
Sharks fan?
Yep
Nice
