I heard that moving to a smaller conference really helped Starkel

And that his experience in the SEC helped him in the bigger games in the MW

I've been waiting for Boise to have that like, next step season

Seems like they usually are good for MW title appearance sometimes win, but they always blow a game or two to sour the season a bit

Normally I expect the win over the FCS school and maybe one or two conference wins

Except 2018 where I watched them lose to UC fucking Davis

Now that is a big yikes

Losing to an FCS school is pretty much the most embarrassing thing a program can accomplish (especially the power 5 teams when they do it)

Unless its North Dakota State

The worst part was I had to call my sister that night who goes to that school lol

Eh, hard to say until I know who opts out. Seems no one will give them a chance but I think it's possible they squeak into 4th in their division.

Seems like they were avoiding it for years

And the Dubnyk trade was stupid

All things considered they got really lucky in 2019 with fortunate calls. Thought it would be the contrast to 2014 after having the "intent to whistle" rule to against us every single time.
