People wanted to get rich off of it, it was a genius strategy, but eventually people realized something was wrong

My mom and the troop leaders of my sister's old girlscout troop went to court at some point over money

As long as they keep the girl troops separate, I'm fairly supportive of the decision. I prefer the stuff that the BSA teaches youth much more than what the Girl Scouts does.

I did not like the way they advertised it though. They clearly tried to make it seem "woke" when it wasn't even a "woke" decision.

If they had merely said that they were providing another program as an alternative to girl scouts, everything would've been fine. But they had to go ahead and say girls were joining boy scouts (which they had already been doing for years with venturing) and make it seem like they were with the boys.
