Rogue One: Good
Mandalorian: Good
Clone wars season 7: Good
Rest of Disney star wars: SHIT
Yep.
When I was growing up Star Wars was the model of what science fiction could be
Now it is a mockery of what it was.
Moral of story when Disney bought Star Wars: This is the consequences when you put your franchise in the wrong hands and they milk the franchise into an absurd Direction.
my review for "Grand Army"
"only good things are they speak like high school students and its got good videography. filled with political bullshit. first episode they make it about race because of a terrorist attack. second episode they make it about a girl acting inappropriately then try to spin it as if the school is "body shaming" or "oppressing" her. so far its pretty fucking terrible." 1 out of 5 stars
Anyone read Venetian Blinds?
Nope
Tbh I don't think the new *Star Wars* movies were that terrible. I like JJ Abrams. I honestly think Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Wars movie to date and I thought Force Awakens had promise. Hated Last Jedi when it came out but ended up respecting it eventually.
Then again, I enjoyed Cats, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Trolls: World Tour so my tastes are questionable to most people
to each their own, there is just so much that I dont like with the sequel trilogy, there was so much wasted potential and good storylines seemed thrown out just so they can have strong woman. even if it really didnt fit with the story or have a plot beyond, go do the thing
@dastenhero I like movies that a lot of others don't like too. Sometimes you just have to give no f***s
Has anyone ever seen Johnny Dangerously?
Nope!
Oh, definitely. a lot of it came down to they were trying to fit their new extended universe into everything so you had to pay hundreds of dollars to actually understand everything in the movie
Which is just bad writing
it is a bad way to write a story
especially when it seems so apparent that they had no overarching story
A lot of people dis the Fantastic Four (Jessica Alba Chris Evans) bit I liked it
I like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
I like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as well
It had that old early 2000s late 90s movie feel to it and I love it
To be honest, one of these days I am going to make an homage to that era
Lots of effects using ropes and wire
Iām not a fan of the new Star Wars movies because thereās to much politics. Iām watching a movie not a political debate
I can agree with that as far as the eighth one goes.
Eight lacked the fun that is essential to the main part of the franchise
I heard the fandom was going to make them part of the universe but not canon
It's great storytelling and pulled some gutsy moves. Some worked, some didn't. However, I never felt like I wanted to be part of the Star Wars universe during 8
Like Empire Strikes Back made people want to be cool like Luke Skywalker or to meet Yoda or hang out with Han Solo
Episode 8 was like "porgs are pretty cute"
The only newer movie I really like was rouge one
I cried at Rogue One, full disclosure
^^
I went home and read comfort fanfiction
Because I was in that stage
Ah
*"Cassian and Jyn aren't dead; they survived because of her lightsaber crystal exploding"* was a literal fanfic and I was there for it
Which is so sad but hey, it was a mildly entertaining idea that predicted the Star Wars multiverse
Which is rumored to be a thing
