Accuracy by volume of fire

2020-08-16 23:58:12 UTC

@Lyte The gau isnt inaccurate, it will drill holes a really good distance it's just being fired from a strafing aircraft moving at near supersonic speeds, the a10 will annihilate a moving vehicle target in two strafes, that pretty darn accurate

2020-08-17 01:26:01 UTC

Ok so if you have a gun that is meant for strafing, why would you want it to just run a line? Would you want it to spread so you hit more? Hitting a moving target isn’t the gun by any means.

2020-08-17 01:27:06 UTC

Also the A10 flies nowhere near supersonic

2020-08-17 01:27:46 UTC

Like close to 300 mph slower. Pretty sure it’s slower than a 747

2020-08-17 01:28:42 UTC

To be fair, the 747 is near transonic. The A-10 can't even keep up with the most advanced WW2 American fighters.

2020-08-17 01:29:23 UTC

A-10 flies at 439 mph.

2020-08-17 01:29:59 UTC

There you go.

2020-08-17 01:32:50 UTC

Hello

2020-08-17 01:32:59 UTC

Hello

2020-08-17 01:33:15 UTC

@Lyte 747-8 flies at 614 mph

2020-08-17 01:33:46 UTC

The 747 for an aircraft of its size is actually very fast.

2020-08-17 03:54:15 UTC

Warthog FTW!!

2020-08-17 04:01:42 UTC

Absolutely

2020-08-17 04:02:14 UTC

Probably the best cas aircraft ever

2020-08-17 04:08:34 UTC

>probably

2020-08-17 04:43:57 UTC

playing with fire there

2020-08-17 04:59:25 UTC

Don't worry. I got dragon skin on lol.

2020-08-17 05:01:49 UTC

Which means I'm fireproof

@Lyte 439 mph is still fast enough for the job when I say near supersonic you're talking 770 mph so more than half way there and I was exaggerating, but my point wasnt how fast the thing goes it's that you're full of crap by saying its not accurate, it's not a flipping sniper rifle but it is accurate even on a stationary target, moving target I dont care how you put it, you take any gun and put it on any moving vehicle and fire it at another moving vehicle and it loses accuracy.. and yes I know it has alot to do with the pilot as well, but even a skilled pilot wouldnt hit a thing without the proper tools.

2020-08-17 16:26:43 UTC

It’s accurate by volume of fire not by the gun itself

2020-08-17 16:27:25 UTC

Ground attack strafing has never been about accuracy, it’s more “how many rounds can put on it before i leave”

2020-08-17 16:28:17 UTC

I never said it couldn’t hit anything but the original purpose of the A-10s gun was strafing single file columns during a WW3 scenario with the USSR

2020-08-17 16:29:50 UTC

Dude, that paper it was hitting at 400 yds was less than 2 moa on a spinning wheel, that's flipping accurate

2020-08-17 16:30:19 UTC

400 yards is very short range

2020-08-17 16:30:25 UTC

The hole it made was the same size as the barrels are apart

2020-08-17 16:30:32 UTC

Most rifles shoot that distance

2020-08-17 16:31:04 UTC

Lol bro.. Probably 1 moa tbh I

2020-08-17 16:56:22 UTC

Heres a great fact about the Gau 8 it will put 80% of all rds fired in a 20 ft circle from over a mile away.. that's not inaccurate especially coming from a 30mm machine gun bullets being fired around 4200 rpm... but st any rate you probably know more than I do..

2020-08-17 18:00:02 UTC

But brrrrrrrrrrrttttttttttt
