Happened back in Vietnam. All those furries knew the terrain too well, we just didn’t stand a chance.
Lmfao
@Dr Badass PhD lets roll
light em up
LET THE BAGPIPES PLAY MF
A-10s will mess you up
Damn right
how many lbs of ordnance can it carry again?
alot
16,000
Oh boy
And, it's supposed to be in service until 2040.
the gun is actually inaccurate af
It just fires so many rounds so fast that it makes up for it
Accuracy by volume of fire
@Lyte The gau isnt inaccurate, it will drill holes a really good distance it's just being fired from a strafing aircraft moving at near supersonic speeds, the a10 will annihilate a moving vehicle target in two strafes, that pretty darn accurate
Ok so if you have a gun that is meant for strafing, why would you want it to just run a line? Would you want it to spread so you hit more? Hitting a moving target isn’t the gun by any means.
Also the A10 flies nowhere near supersonic
Like close to 300 mph slower. Pretty sure it’s slower than a 747
To be fair, the 747 is near transonic. The A-10 can't even keep up with the most advanced WW2 American fighters.
A-10 flies at 439 mph.
There you go.
Hello
Hello
@Lyte 747-8 flies at 614 mph
The 747 for an aircraft of its size is actually very fast.
Warthog FTW!!
Absolutely
Probably the best cas aircraft ever
>probably
playing with fire there
Don't worry. I got dragon skin on lol.
Which means I'm fireproof

@Lyte 439 mph is still fast enough for the job when I say near supersonic you're talking 770 mph so more than half way there and I was exaggerating, but my point wasnt how fast the thing goes it's that you're full of crap by saying its not accurate, it's not a flipping sniper rifle but it is accurate even on a stationary target, moving target I dont care how you put it, you take any gun and put it on any moving vehicle and fire it at another moving vehicle and it loses accuracy.. and yes I know it has alot to do with the pilot as well, but even a skilled pilot wouldnt hit a thing without the proper tools.
It’s accurate by volume of fire not by the gun itself
Ground attack strafing has never been about accuracy, it’s more “how many rounds can put on it before i leave”
