That doesn't make a good tank

the sherman is the perfect neutral

the T-34 was revolutionary but was an awful tank in practice

cramped, awful protection for most of the early models

decent armor
75mm good anti tank/ anti infantry
76mm great anti tank
crew spacing was good

You could hit a T34 and the armor would break and fragment inside the crew compartment and kill everyone without a penetration

it had great anti tank and in early war Africa was the best fielded tank thanks to its punchier 75

so could the 76mm

the 17pdr was cramped inside the 75mm turret

the 76mm lacked enough explosive mass to deal with infantry
