I believe that Germany had plans to build a battleship that had 3 3-gun turrets each armed with 800 mm guns
Thats the key word, PLANNED
They had no way for that to happen realistically
Look at the P1000 Ratte
A battleship sized Heavy tank
You'd have to be insane for that to be real
Ah yes the H-45 class
This was also planned by the German army but never happened. Would've been a monster of a machine. (Maus for comparison.)
Maus looks like an toy compared to it
It's probably what they would have made if they won.
The Bismarck is 250 meters tho
Yea, don't think it's completely accurate as a model. But I think the size is about right.
Is the H45 supposed to be the triple gun turret version, or is it the one with 4 2gun turrets?
wait
im blind
That Bismarck looks like an nagato class battleship
it kinda looks weird from this angle
Anyone here have an idea where to find Kriegsspiel sets or how to make the pieces? I want to make my own version of Kriegsspiel but in a modern setting
maps for sale would also be very helpful
F16i
Israeli jet
ok but I want to one up you all, greatest weapons, were the winged hussars, the sacred band of thebes, the normans, the xiongnu, the zheng he armada, the americans during the second world war, the vikings, and finally the hussites under Zizka
oh and the korean navy under admerial yi, they should make a sabaton song about him
israeli modded f16
🤔
Yeah in essence they gave it diabetes
All those upgrades gotta go somewhere.
The Shinano, third of the Yamato battleships was being converted mid build to a carrier. If she hadn't been sunk before completion, the Shinano would have the world's first supercarrier.
Then we torpedoed it to death
Yeah via sub
The Japanese were quite desperate and inventive on turning their larger capital ships into mini carriers.

@Shogun Kevin basically a bigger unfinished version of the Kaga
Yeah, it would probably have been slick looking but at that point it was simple numbers, the US was pumping out those Essex class carriers, with well trained pilots.
Ambitious of the Soviets, but not really practical at the time.
The us made a flying carrier on paper
