Ah the 247, the AA tank with targetting so bad that it couldnt tell the difference between a porta potty and a jet engine
Also, better to be in a tank where its nice and warm than out in thenopen exposed to the elements, like enemy bullet storms
Also if your gonna be a tank op, gonna have to build up your pissin and shittin in small bags and bottles, because once your under the hatch you won't be seeing daylight again till your back at base
And that could go on for days
oof
But overall if your in an Abrams and not a Bradley, your chances of surviving an anti tank round are fairly high due to the latest versions testing out hardkill active protection systems to keep missiles and low velocity HEAT munitions from harming you
And i believe that in testing still is a Hardkill system that can lessen the damage caused by sabot penetrators
If anybody wished, we can share and recommend military literature to each other? :p
I'll take some suggestions.
Hm really?
I know some good ones
Good
okay, have you read "panzer leader" By Hienz Guderian? Its perhaps one of the best accounts off ww2 right in the front seat.
No I have not
Atchtung Panzer is obvi extremely important, but its very word heavy if you know what I mean.
Id recommend reading Panzer leader before it
Ok I will have to add them to the list
I get what you mean by word heavy
On the other side, "Marshel Of Victory" is the memoir of Zhukov, I havent read it yet but Im very exited for it.
Uncensored version as well
Not a war book but "Black swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
It's pretty good a long read but good.
Looks very intriguing I must say
nothing beats the hog
It definitely gets you thinking.
I also know a really good one not about war, but modern propaganda, let me find it rly quick
Ah yes, "Age of propaganda, The everyday use and abuse of persuasion" by Anthony Pratkanis. Very timely dont you think?
Yes definitely seems like a valuable book to read during this day and age.
It does
Well I got to run talk to you later.
Aight, cya man
