The early a5 Vigilantes were designated A3J
Yeah before the 1962 designation thing
The a5 was kinda a flop
Indeed
Coulda put some missiles or bombs on the wings or sth
Or it coulda worked as a tanker as well
The a5 did have wing mounts
Not the ra5 because the ra5 was recon
Were they used for combat in Nam?
The armed ones I mean
Not the a5s
The ra5s had the worst shootdown ratio because the missions they would fly were so dangerous
Have you seen the anime Gate? There was this cool scene where a dragon was stabled in, well a stable, and a fighter jet comes and bombs the hell out of them with some Combat Controllers painting the target.
Isnt that the part where they bomb the senate?
Ye
Well the senate and the entire capitol lol
Sup dawg
hello
gonna join the marine core
Headed for Army National Guard.
Oldest Branch in the military.
@ConstantColt058 tell us what your favorite flavor of crayon is when you come back from basic.
The core is the third most elite and phyisically demanding of the branches/units second to the SEALs
Nice.
I got mad respect for Marines though. Basic alone seems insanely difficult.
I don't get the crayon joke tho
Mad respect to the national guard. You guys help a lot of people on the homefront
Air Force moment
Bonhomme Richard is getting scrapped
4 of the LCS will be decomissioned as well
