Bad idea

2020-11-11 19:19:48 UTC

Yeah they used to wear red pants

2020-11-11 19:25:14 UTC

They started Blue with Red in WW1 then All blue in WW2, It wasn't much of an upgrade if they can still clearly see your Bright BLUE ASS!!!

2020-11-11 19:26:08 UTC

And don't get me started with their weaponry, that is a shame far beyond any shame

2020-11-11 19:34:36 UTC

Die Deutsch habe rot Hose

2020-11-11 19:34:47 UTC

i dont know what the plural for pants is yet

2020-11-11 19:51:35 UTC

poland had tanks that were batter then the panzer at the beiging of the war, you learn a lot what you defeat a full scale bolshivek invasion

2020-11-11 19:53:20 UTC

Not really

2020-11-11 19:54:10 UTC

Frankly most of Polands equipment were imported from somewhere else

2020-11-11 19:55:34 UTC

And whatever tanks they had operated on the same philosophy of ww1 light tanks

2020-11-11 19:55:56 UTC

Which were god awful compared to panzers

2020-11-11 19:55:59 UTC

The polish tanks circa 1939 were built by polish engineers as an upgrade of the current french tank of the time. this model tank was faster, better armed, and better armored than the Panzer 1. The problem was the Wermacht had thousands and Poland had 40.

2020-11-11 19:57:06 UTC

The French's upgraded Renaults were frankly the same, but their issue was they were heavily cramped which made response times to enemy units slower

2020-11-11 19:58:21 UTC

Panzer 2's on the otherhand, while they had less armor, had better operationality due to the more space inside the chasse and turret which allowed for more rapid response to the enemy

2020-11-11 19:59:10 UTC

And with an automatic 20mm cannon, they could make short work of opposing light and medium armor

2020-11-11 20:00:38 UTC

we're talking Panzer 1's first off and second, whoever made their guns don't matter they're polish, the fought the nazi's in Warsaw with fucking sticks, the held the Nazi's at Danzig for weeks and only surrendered because they ran out of bullets, they held the wermacht at Wizna for 5 days, while outnumbered 40:1, for comparision, the hot gates was 14:1.

2020-11-11 20:01:26 UTC

Panzer 2's operated at the same time as Panzer 1's, and frankly were fairly similar

2020-11-11 20:03:12 UTC

@SpaceDandyJoestarGG theyre the Yugoslav partisans

2020-11-11 20:03:31 UTC

who absolutely wrecked the Nazis in yugoslavia

2020-11-11 20:04:02 UTC

they are one of WW2's unsung heroes because they helped take pressure of the USSR and Western Front

2020-11-11 20:23:27 UTC

France had better tanks, but their doctrine sucked

2020-11-11 20:25:02 UTC

@A Person huh never heard of them but hey that's cool.

2020-11-11 20:27:12 UTC

what was the best German tank destroyer

2020-11-11 20:27:45 UTC

Per tonnage of armor and strength of their guns, yes the French AMD's and Renault's were better armed and arguably their tanks were better, however the majority of them had 1 major flaw that made them easy prey to Panzers, cramped turrets that had manual turning instead of hydrolic till they got their hands on the Sherman

2020-11-11 20:28:18 UTC

also did the Germans and Japanese ever fight together?

2020-11-11 20:28:23 UTC

No

2020-11-11 20:28:36 UTC

But they did share a few things with each other

2020-11-11 20:29:15 UTC

Tho it was mostly german arms going to Japan. like a Tiger tank

2020-11-11 20:29:32 UTC

ok

2020-11-11 20:30:14 UTC

As for best german TD, it would have to be the StuG

2020-11-11 20:30:23 UTC

ok

2020-11-11 20:30:52 UTC

Also why did tank destroyers not have turning turrets? Was it so that they could mount powerful cannons?
