Panzer VI Tiger, Panzer V Panther and Panzer VII King Tiger all suffered transmission failure after 150 miles due to over stressed design, the tank was just way too heavy for 60 tons of raw armor
Well i mean, compared to other tanks, the transmission fsilures werent much an issue, as every other countries tanks had the same issues and some Shermans would flatout just not start and the Russian T-34 would occasionally not having a working gun at all

And because late into the war Germany went stupid with their tank tactics except with the Panther, which birthed the modern tank combat strategy
You ever hear about that American operation in Vietnam where they sabotaged 7.62x39 ammunition? Basically the whole idea was to 1. Gain mistrust between the Chinese and north Vietnam and 2. Destroy enemy weapons. The way they did it is they put a high power explosive in each bullet to completely destroy the enemy’s weapons.
Shermans were the most produced tank, so it was bound to get a lot of issues same for T-34 and T-34 had a Jerryrig solution, Strap a new unused Transmission in the back of the tank to battle until you hear the one in use break

This is Wernher von Braun, one of the most controversial figures in recent history. I’m sure if he was alive today, he would be the most hated person on Twitter. He was one of the head scientists in Nazi Germany during WWII, and is responsible for the deaths of thousands with his invention of the first missile: the V-2. After the war, the U.S. government did something that most people today, if they were in the position of power, would do the opposite: The government gave him a second chance at life. And you know what he did? He moved to America with a presidential pardon from Truman. He started a new life and went on the be the chief engineer at NASA, and built the first of the Atlas, Titan, and Delta rockets. He also was the primary designer of the Saturn 1, Saturn 1B, and the Saturn V. Because the government gave him a second chance, he became one of the greatest minds of the 20th century, who went on to build the rocket who brought us to the moon. No matter how bad someone’s background, always give them a second chance.
To be fair the V-2 rockets only killed about 2 to 3 people on average
