The great thing about history I will never know everything and I can learn more and more

History will always be a interesting subject

And sadly the youth of my age or younger don't like history

And in terms of history I know very little lol there's just too much

It's insane to think that every little day things we use constantly also have history

Like beds, Pillow, phones, etc.

I find too many brush off history as a stuffy dust collector

Without knowing the past, we are doomed to repeat it

Unfortunately most are taught with the mindset that history is boring or how its dumb

And teachers can't seem to make history seem cool or fun

Theres this dude that dresses like fuckin Fidel Castro or Che Guevarra or some shit in my civics class but he's subtle about it

and i really wish i could punch him for it

The spirit of mindfulness is absent in the youth prison, erm public school system

Yeah I have a hard time just learning in school because it's not really a place to have fun or learn about useful things school is a prison

School is not cool, it's a miserable existence

For me it is i like the teaches and some students but what's the point if I can't enjoy it

I have a very hard time doing the work because they made it boring

I used to love reading as a kid lol got a medal for it but I dont really care for reading

I feel like the story of Elon Musk’s life so far is a real representation of the American Dream. He came from a poor, abusive family in South Africa and when he was 17, immigrated to Canada with his brother to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. A year later, he moved to the USA and went to school. After he finished it, he decided to work for himself. He founded X.com, which became PayPal. After selling it, he gained 180million. Most people would then retire for the rest of their lives, but not him. He put 10m into his company Solar City, 70m into Tesla, and 100m in SpaceX. Now, all three companies are alive and successful with 2 being the biggest companies in the world. Along the way, he founded a half-dozen more companies and became (as of last week) the second richest person in the world. He really shows what can be done with hard work and determination.
