2020-06-16 15:38:59 UTC

I think I'd rather work with wood

2020-06-16 15:39:10 UTC

cause no drill i have is capable of drilling through the steel

2020-06-16 15:39:23 UTC

2020-06-16 15:39:46 UTC

i actually have a seax in progress

2020-06-16 15:39:59 UTC

2020-06-16 15:40:33 UTC

Id be interested in making tankards

2020-06-16 15:40:57 UTC

2020-06-16 15:41:05 UTC

2020-06-16 15:41:17 UTC

I'm speaking for myself

2020-06-16 15:41:19 UTC

Lol

2020-06-16 15:41:38 UTC

with enough trial and error i could probably get something that doesnt blow up in my face

2020-06-16 15:41:44 UTC

but it would be crude

2020-06-16 15:42:10 UTC

Tankards are wooden mugs

2020-06-16 15:42:28 UTC

<@722152971831345152> hmm. Ur screwed

2020-06-16 15:42:29 UTC

ah

2020-06-16 15:42:44 UTC

2020-06-16 15:43:01 UTC

They'd round u up like cattle and throw you in camps

2020-06-16 15:43:03 UTC

its strong, unwavering, and can keep its shape really well

2020-06-16 15:43:41 UTC

and it only wavers when you heat it up to 3000 degrees fahrenheit

2020-06-16 15:47:12 UTC

@Deleted User forged in fire doesnt determine skill. I know, I was on that show.

2020-06-16 15:48:03 UTC

Ive seen 20 year vets lose to complete amateurs.

2020-06-16 15:49:26 UTC

My apprentice only forged a single blade before we went on the show. At the end of the first round he had a knife hardened, to spec, at the end of the round. We only saw maybe 5 minutes of actual aire time. The farriers got almost 20 minutes. They were women so...

2020-06-16 15:51:00 UTC

They yeeted us off, not because of his blade, but because Mark and Jessica's knife had a crack and I threw a fit that they were going to kick them off. So the judges took it out on me and Leon. I was okay with it. We played tour guides at the Metropolitan museum.

2020-06-16 15:52:45 UTC

You could see the character of who was who based on the reactions of getting booted. Leon and I were pounding fists and smiling, the farriers were crying and whining. Joe and Casey were like "whatevs".

2020-06-16 15:52:50 UTC

What season and episode I'll watch it

2020-06-16 15:53:08 UTC

Season 5, episode 6. Ultimate team challenge.

2020-06-16 15:54:53 UTC

You have to prove your skill to be on that show. I forged a katana on the side of a mountain with duck tape, and a single hammer. Looked amazing given what I used to make it. That got me on the show because I proved I could make a sword length blade in less than 5 days. And I did it in a hole in the ground.

2020-06-16 15:55:55 UTC
2020-06-16 15:56:27 UTC

And thats before I got a mirror polish

2020-06-16 15:58:43 UTC
2020-06-16 15:59:12 UTC

Im the one quenching here.

2020-06-16 16:42:30 UTC

The host always sounds like his nose is clogged

2020-06-16 18:28:25 UTC

Lol, hes a dirty joker.

2020-06-16 19:16:17 UTC

Any of them assholes?

2020-06-16 19:28:59 UTC

Baker. Lol. The producers told the judges to be assholes to Leon and I but Baker is a natural asshole.

2020-06-16 20:08:24 UTC

Wow

2020-06-16 20:08:25 UTC
