I’ve done a bit of research and from what I’ve seen is that you can’t get one in 45-70. The closest you’ll find ballistically is 458 socom or 50 beuwolf
> 5.56 vs .300 BLK
@AWOIII 5.56 is better/more flexible than most people give it credit for. .300 BLK is best suppressed and/or really short (8-12 inches). Love 'em both, have both.

I agree with everything he says here (including that Kimber's "II" series stuff is trash). I love the way the 1911 looks, I love the history of it, but I'd no sooner pick it over my Sig as a carry gun than I'd use my Winchester 94 over one of my ARs as a house gun.
@Sage once I'm old enough I'm going to purchase and carry a Para Ordnance P12 .45
Canadian made, not the American trash.
It's what my dad carries and it's a super good gun.
It's a 1911 platform but double stack.
I just bought a beretta 92x for my carry gun when I get older
He actually points out he's talking about the single stacks specifically.
Ahhh
I like 92fs better but nobody around here has one:/
I see
92fs? Nah, 92g.
@Winnie37a my dad used to have a Beretta. Not sure what kind but he sold it to my grandpa cause he needed cash.
Boi was 700 bucks

I really do love the 1911 platform because of the grip safety. Perfect for CCW.
True
And they look purty
Ruger Bearcat 🔥
Iike the 1911 because i can put my small hand around the the grip
Glocks are all polymer
Pretty much
I can't do that with double stack 9mm
Yeah.
See, I don't like the 1911 partly because the grip is too narrow for me.
I've only ever shot 1 1911
@Sage yeah my dad got larger grips for his because they were too small for him.
Lol
It was meh
I can barely wrap my hand around a single stack
The grips my dad got feel super nice in my hands.
Perfect size
See, there's my EDC.
P226 with the classic fat grips and all.
Bad thing is that the 92x is soo new that nobody makes different grips and holsters for it yet🙉
Oof. I feel you. It's not easy to find good concealed carry holsters for a P226.
