Depends on how far back you pull the slide

2020-07-21 02:41:01 UTC

Negev is constant recoil like the Ultimax, isn't it?

2020-07-21 02:41:28 UTC

Okay thank you! They’re still kind of expensive but I’m not sure what’s important when looking for ARs

2020-07-21 02:42:34 UTC

Some ppl use them znd others don't its what u want

2020-07-21 02:42:41 UTC

Yeah, in the real world the forward assist is pretty much useless. Good for silent loading, and for making malfunctions worse. Pull the bolt all the way to the rear and let it go (or just lock it rear, insert mag and release the bolt with the button) and you'll be fine.

2020-07-21 02:43:34 UTC

AR15 has a squib - Forward assist lets you blow the gun up.
Accidentally load a .300 AAC round in a 5.56 rifle - Forward assist lets you blow the gun up.

2020-07-21 02:45:33 UTC

Pizza what did u end up going witj

2020-07-21 02:46:13 UTC

The forward assist is there to shove the bolt into battery to complete the chamber and lock actions required before firing in the event the weapon has a chambering malfunction. This feature is used in the acronym SPORTS Slap up on the magazine to ensure its seated, Pull back the charging handle, Observe the chamber to ensure there are no obstructions, Release the charging handle, Tap the forward assist to ensure battery, Squeeze the trigger.

Also I was making a gag about the Negev in CSGO

2020-07-21 02:48:04 UTC

If i was going fully automatic I would do my ak or get one if the new sig that they made for the army i think it as

2020-07-21 02:48:06 UTC

Yeah, that's one of three entries they're looking at. I don't expect it to go very far, since they don't seem to offer much over what's out there now, and would complicate the supply chain.

2020-07-21 02:53:30 UTC

Idk the new ammo cal might be better even places like Russia and Germany looking to change to New cal for fully automatic

2020-07-21 02:57:33 UTC

It's just the age-old problem of throwing another caliber into the mix, plus we just paid to develop the new M855A1 (which is a monster). You know why the Garand wasn't adopted in its original caliber of .276 Pedersen, right?

2020-07-21 02:58:44 UTC

Also, there's a reason they run Abrams tanks on diesel instead of jet fuel.

2020-07-21 02:59:49 UTC

Ease of access

2020-07-21 03:01:14 UTC

@f***urfeelings I’m thinking of buying a Mossberg MMR

2020-07-21 03:01:21 UTC

But I really need to save for it

2020-07-21 03:01:40 UTC

I want to save 1000 so I can have an option of going with an aero precision rifle

2020-07-21 03:02:22 UTC

I never had a problem with areo

2020-07-21 03:03:08 UTC

Guess it would make ammo harder to get in the field

2020-07-21 03:03:18 UTC

> Ease of access
@KumquatLord Yep. Simplified logistics. Why ship in two (or more) different kinds of fuel? Just run everything on diesel. Logistics is what wins wars.

2020-07-21 03:04:59 UTC

I’ll have a few months to figure out what I want while I save, and wait for everything to get re-stocked

2020-07-21 03:07:20 UTC

Does ur state make u get a permit to buy ar15 before u get it

2020-07-21 03:11:41 UTC

Nope

2020-07-21 03:12:55 UTC

As long as it’s the same as buying a shotgun all I have to do is fill out my paperwork, page and a half not that much, then the dealer calls a number that directly goes to the FBI, they background check me, then I buy the gun

2020-07-21 03:13:18 UTC

Walk out that same day with Rifles and long guns

2020-07-21 03:16:34 UTC

I am asking cuz even buying one used in Lincoln everyone wants a permit for them

2020-07-21 03:17:01 UTC

Lincoln...?

2020-07-21 03:57:01 UTC

That was for pizza

2020-07-21 05:11:52 UTC

New gunner (and new to the discord, hi) here: I'm looking into getting better-than-factory grips for my CZ. Any strong opinions on different woods/finishes?

2020-07-21 14:09:58 UTC

You want some kind of pressure treated/stabilized wood. Knife scales and gun grips are 1 in the same.

🇺🇦 👍
