Right! Not actually a gun!
If you ever get really serious about shooting it, I just found this. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?279270-30-Rimfire

I don't plan on it, I got it because it's a piece of history

2020-07-29 01:15:20 UTC

I just thought it was fun that someone figured out how to make functional ammo for it. The people on that site...

2020-07-29 01:22:28 UTC

what y’all think abt 3D printed guns

2020-07-29 01:27:19 UTC

They work okay for lowers but they dont make it too well on the uppers and slides.

2020-07-29 01:34:07 UTC

I like the political statement. Not really very practical outside of using it like an FP-45.

2020-07-29 01:34:35 UTC

I agree that it's great for making things that freak the gun grabbers out

2020-07-29 01:36:44 UTC

They want to ban milling machines and lathes because "guns"

2020-07-29 01:36:54 UTC

lol I wouldn’t put in the effort into making one

2020-07-29 01:38:13 UTC

The amount of skill to make things properly in a mill and lathe is something politicians can't comprehend

2020-07-29 01:44:12 UTC

The list of things politicians can't comprehend is very very long.

2020-07-29 01:45:01 UTC

Yep

2020-07-29 01:45:03 UTC

You can buy 80% kits of various makes and models of pistols and rifles. They can be completed on a harbor freight mill and lathe

2020-07-29 01:45:19 UTC

Some of them can be competed with a hand drill

2020-07-29 01:46:06 UTC

This is true. I remember when making ak47s was the cool thing. A drill press and hydraulic press were pretty much all you needed

2020-07-29 01:49:03 UTC

@StonerWithABoner nice toilet

2020-07-29 01:50:13 UTC

2020-07-29 17:54:02 UTC

2020-07-29 19:15:14 UTC

I'm a noob at shipping guns how does that work

2020-07-29 19:15:23 UTC

Does it go to your pawn shop or something

2020-07-29 19:33:43 UTC

Yeah it can be shipped to an FFL

2020-07-29 19:33:56 UTC

Basically any gun shop

2020-07-29 19:34:04 UTC

Or pawn shops that sell guns

2020-07-29 20:15:03 UTC

Yup there are ffls that are just some guys house too

2020-07-29 23:22:15 UTC

Once you have an FFL, dont be surprised when you surrender your 4th amendment rights for it. ATF can come and inspect at any time.

@Ironman you can buy a machining kit for a pistol for 100$ and for an AR15/10 for 290$ before tax, good for 30 processings on metal and nearly infinite on polymer

Also everyone, I am both excited and disappointed to say that I have fired a hipoint c9. Brilliantly simple, effective garbage
