Demo ranch is hard on those things, and they still function
Hey, Hi Point runs better than Jimenez or whatever they call themselves this week. As a member of the Sig-Sauer master race, I like Hi Point because even plebs deserve to exercise their 2A rights.

Well theres the site
They're straight blowback. Super hard to blow up. Someone sent a Carbine in because "it wouldn't hit to point of aim." Hi point found something like a dozen rounds in the barrel behind a squib. It didn't blow up (because not a locked system) and they spun a new barrel in and sent the rifle back for no charge.
I won't extend the same goodwill to Taurus, though. Taurus is crap.
Taurus is indeed crap
Could go with a hi point carbine
If I ever lost my skills/job/pay and needed a new pistol, I'd pick a Hi Point way before a Taurus.
If you really want a cheap ar pistol
I kind of want a DB15 but dimond back got bought by Taurus
There was also the time where some woman in the ghetto ran off home invaders with a used, beat-up Hi Point carbine and Hi Point sent her a brand new, free carbine. Gotta admire that.
They're proud of their stuff no doubt
Without being "proud." If you know what I mean...
Just wish they put a bit more into the styling of the pistols
There's only so much you can do with straight blowback. Look at the H&K (snob gun alert!) VP70. Just as ugly, for the exact same reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6UZhPvAtKQ
Heckler und Koch: Because we hate you. And you suck.
Lol
Heh, what model Sig actually would do that? Mine's the P226 which is double drop safe.
I did hear some stuff about people freaking about the primer wipes on the P365, but every pistol does that...
P320 was the newest culprit and cause of a class action lawsuit that sig settled, as it is they have a bunch of people getting settlements for non-negligent discharge of the pistol, in one case a guy was unbelting his holster and it shot him in the leg
Hmmm. Better start thinking about the old 6 shooter “cowboy carry”?
The striker plate is somehow responsible for it, that or combined with a heavier trigger or some form of the combination of several components, the ARMY already had them replace trigger groups in the ones they had, there was also a few more issues. They "fixed" the issue but there are still reports of it happening on the newest models of P320
