Debating if this is a good idea or dumb. I live in Atlanta and the outdoor gun range I go to is 1 hr 30 min away, I like to get food on the way back and do not want to leave my guns in the car. So I figured this might be an alternative?

depends on if someone values a potentially high quality guitar more than some random gun 😂 I would just make sure thats legal. Havent ever looked at laws around carry cases or anything, but Im sure somewhere has some sort of law about that.

@Odb Anything helps. Everyone in GA knows it's legal to keep firearms in your car, so thieves look for them. They get stolen out of cars in my city all the time, so anything to make it look like you are not a gun owner is a plus. If you're serious about keeping your guns safe, you could add one of those "coexist" bumper stickers...

Sig gave me a car sticker when I bought my p365. It’s like openly advertising you own a gun that may or may not be in your car
