my fiance loves my 270 for deer hunting

she used to use a 30-06

now I am got her a 270 and she is happy

little savage rifle and the thing is accurate, spread of maybe 3in at 200 meters

Family has abit of love for the army or navy...1st of my kin to go into jarhead clan

also I operate in both metric and standard because fuck it I am engineer

the difference is what they can take down at range

I prefer the heavier round when moose/bear hunting, but shit if it is elk and deer they gonna die by the 270

Deer and Hogs are what I mostly go for

Heavyweight rounds make sense for larger prey

well my 270 took an elk at 600 meters last year

so I am happy with that

I'd like to try and go for a buffalo at some point in my life
