she used to use a 30-06

now I am got her a 270 and she is happy

the difference is what they can take down at range

I prefer the heavier round when moose/bear hunting, but shit if it is elk and deer they gonna die by the 270

Deer and Hogs are what I mostly go for

Heavyweight rounds make sense for larger prey

well my 270 took an elk at 600 meters last year

so I am happy with that

I'd like to try and go for a buffalo at some point in my life
