Anyone interested in a Springfield Saint AR pistol? Never been fired. A buddy of mine is selling, would need to pick it up (Central Illinois)

How much?

2020-10-08 17:34:43 UTC

Question, would one of those bolt pistol farmers use on cattle would be effective against humans? Just curious.

2020-10-08 17:37:12 UTC

i assume they're inaccurate as fuck

2020-10-08 17:38:59 UTC

2020-10-08 17:53:16 UTC

2020-10-08 18:10:03 UTC

My cz P01 has a cajun trigger job and I like the gun, I wouldn’t mind trading the slide w/ the holosun 507c & threaded barrel, for a regular slide w/ iron sights and a non threaded barrel but I feel like it would be hard to find that specific person.. so my question is, if I buy a new cz p01 and swap out the slide & barrel onto my current CZ, is that going to be an issue bc the lower has a different serial number than the barrel & upper?

2020-10-08 18:45:39 UTC

maybe?

2020-10-08 19:03:54 UTC

I called a machine shop to see if they would make the cover plate and they wont but the guy said it is not an issue to change a slide or barrel because the atf only looks at the lowers serial number

Lol the magazine on this is AMAZING! I want this shotgun now..

2020-10-08 19:33:51 UTC

oh thats nice

2020-10-08 19:54:49 UTC

@Odb Cajun's trigger kits is a must for any CZ pistols...if you're CZ is the some model type it shouldn't be a problem....but with that said the fellows at CZs forums or custom shop are very helpful

2020-10-08 19:57:07 UTC

Maybe look for a slide frame w just Stock OEM, your frame is a CZ P-01

2020-10-08 20:22:07 UTC

@Aperfectghost it is an omega model, the trigger is specific to the omega models but unless I can find a trade, I think it wouldn’t be much more expensive to buy the gun. (Barrel cut, slide replacement & or custom machined cover w/ dovetail cut & new night sights bc I have suppressor sights)

2020-10-08 20:31:56 UTC

Did you run your pistol with a can

2020-10-08 20:32:41 UTC

The trigger shouldn't matter because its apart of the lower assembly

2020-10-08 20:33:42 UTC

Did u buy ur piece from a gunstore?

2020-10-08 20:36:04 UTC

If you bought a whole different CZ pistol they run around 700, sometimes more if it's a low production run..

2020-10-08 20:41:31 UTC

Guys I’m pro gun, I jUst WanT cOmMon SeNcE gUn ConTrOl

2020-10-08 20:42:26 UTC

No I have not run it with a can. The gun works perfectly fine tho, I just had the slide cut for a holosun 507c(rmr cut) i want to go back to night sights, I am not a fan of optics on handguns. I also do not like the length of a threaded barrel. I figured buying a new gun and just swapping the slide & barrel is the cheapest option and then I have an extra cz which never hurts

2020-10-08 20:44:38 UTC

Ok I'm wrong about the trigger.....since it's a special model u would just need a **complete upper** from a CZ p01 omega.

2020-10-08 20:46:04 UTC

I carried a p01 into battle, but I had no idea about the Omega trigger system

2020-10-08 20:46:46 UTC

I do like learning new stuff about cz

2020-10-08 20:50:27 UTC

But odb I would ask CZ if you got doubts or questions

2020-10-08 20:55:16 UTC

Yeah I ask cz custom thru email if they sold slides or would custom cut a cover plate with a dove tail and they said no to both loo

2020-10-08 21:00:21 UTC

More CZ are as always welcome, I haven't tried a optics on pistol but honestly I'm just old school

2020-10-08 21:00:56 UTC

Oh dang

2020-10-08 21:01:20 UTC

CZ you'll failed this city

2020-10-08 21:02:27 UTC

It is all personal preference honestly but I feel like an optic is not as viable in a gun fight. I am more accurate with the optic on paper tho

2020-10-08 21:11:31 UTC

Mm that just sounds like a your just familiar with using an optic.
As for a gunfight, I cant say anything to help, it comes down to training and Keeping claim.

5.56 rounds and a glock 19

2020-10-08 21:14:45 UTC

Are those small hands?

2020-10-08 21:15:08 UTC

If those are small something else must definitely be small

2020-10-08 21:18:38 UTC

a retired cop i know has a sig .380 (not sure exactly what the model is called), and a sig 226, both from about 1989 -91 range. He says if he ever gets rid of one he'll sell it to me

2020-10-08 21:22:49 UTC
