It’s our first semi auto rifle
The rest are bolt
Nope its legal back then they didn't have to put a number on itv
Pre-68, guns didn't need serial numbers
A lot of em still got them but that was typically for manufacturers to track inventory internally
https://youtu.be/KrHqrC4RpUs sorta off topic but this is hilarious
Yup thats a pre 68 sears 22 single shot rifle
.22 is nice
Not super effective but it’s real easy to get a shit ton of ammunition and spend the day shooting
I am going to give it to my son when he old enough
@Birbdude I’m 18 and I have a handgun, but it’s in my dad’s name technically. So if you want one to keep in your car, which is legal, you can do that as well
I’m sorta in the same spot. Last year I was given my brother’s 30-06 rifle by my dad after he was killed, so I technically own a gun but it isn’t exactly mine.
Sorry that makes no sense after I read that to myself
Dang sorry to hear that your brother died
Was he in the military or something?
My brother had a 30-06 rifle, but after he was killed it was given to my dad. My dad then gave it to me, so technically I own a gun but also not really.
He was a Navy Seabee, but he actually died in the states. He was hit by a drunk driver while he was on his way home.
Yeah that makes sense about the rifles ownership _^
🙁
It was four days after his wedding. He was on his way from Wisconsin to California.
Dang
I’m still a bit shocked that he didn’t survive. He was 6’5” and about 300 pounds of pure muscle. He actually lived a while after the crash.
But died in the hospital
☹️ I can't imagine having to deal with that... Sorry to hear that.
Anyways, this is off topic for the guns channel.
I have a Sigg Sauer P3 65
You know what’s dumb? Us not being able to own fully automatic weapons.
But I would like something like a Glock 17 or basically a full-size handgun but I really like the style of glocks
The constitution clearly states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
That includes all arms
Like fully automatic firearms
To be honest though, the question is where do you draw the line? Should citizens be able to own a nuclear bomb? So basically where is the line?
I’m not much of an ancap, but if they can afford it then let them do it
I think that in certain cases, school shooters would be worse off with an automatic weapon because they would end up wasting more ammo and probably wouldn’t be as good at controlling it, so I genuinely think that some shootings that have happened would have had less victims with automatic guns. Does that make sense?
But they aren’t really allowed to use them, because you know, murder
Oh absolutely
What is ancap?
Anarcho capitalist
Oh I see
Basically the ideology that the government shouldnt really exist and that market forces should control society
