So far, I've added a semi-flared mag well extension and an extended slide release (from Wilson Combat and its nearly perfect. Last thing is to upgrade my sights.

@f***urfeelings sig p365 is my edc. it fits really well in a pocket or appendix. if you don't think you'll ever carry it in your pocket i would suggest you at least consider the p365xl

i usually carry pocket when i carry

I used to carry a cz rami which was very similar to a sig p365 for my EDC, now just carry p07 or my p01C

I agree that the early/mid K98k is perfect. It is my favorite of them all to shoot, low recoil, smooth trigger and bolt.... but at almost a dollar per shot, with limited availability, it's more of a treat than a regular occurrence.

Do you think it is worth buying a 4-16 scope for deer hunting on a 6.5 creed moor in Alabama which your shots are not gonna be anything last 500 yards

@f***urfeelings basically just a little longer in the barrel and maybe a tad in the grip. Basically to big to pocket carry but still easily able to conceal appendix or whatever. Still get 12 rounds I think.
