I really don't know, I just picked a random one

2020-10-22 00:14:06 UTC

Note: Im not trying to start any arguments. I just wanna know why everyone thinks each type is better. doing some research for myself

2020-10-22 00:14:17 UTC

oh lol

2020-10-22 00:16:23 UTC

They have about the same penetration, other than that I don't know differences

2020-10-22 01:00:29 UTC

in terms of pistols, I have only fired the 40smith. Loved it.

2020-10-22 01:01:04 UTC

that said, when I turn 21, I do intend to buy a 9.

2020-10-22 01:09:18 UTC

Never shot a .40

2020-10-22 01:13:28 UTC

Same

2020-10-22 01:36:14 UTC

40 sw are nice but at that point just gey a 10mm

2020-10-22 01:47:44 UTC

Yea

2020-10-22 01:47:46 UTC

This is true

2020-10-22 01:47:59 UTC

Personally, as a man of culture, I like me a nice .45

2020-10-22 01:54:18 UTC

I havent shot a 45 in years lol

2020-10-22 01:59:50 UTC

My dad has a P12 .45 so I get to use it every time we go to the range

2020-10-22 02:03:15 UTC

This whole conversation reminded me of this video

It's a good one

2020-10-22 02:07:51 UTC

Yes it is, got me to rewatch the AR vs AK video

@sixfivebyfiftyfive Just get someone over the age of 21 to buy it for you, Iā€™m 18 and I have a 9 mm pistol. I keep it in my car

2020-10-22 02:25:32 UTC

Big brain move

2020-10-22 02:25:52 UTC

ik, but I really don't have a reason to own a handgun until I can carry it. Im also about to (hopefully) leave for college and you can't really have guns at most schools. :/

2020-10-22 02:26:32 UTC

anyways, more money for 30-30 ammo, am I right?

2020-10-22 03:26:27 UTC

I prefer 9mm with shot placement training..... most of the time calibers matter not during an altercation, correct me if I'm wrong. Its been abit since I looked at the FBI data. You can kill anything with right application of PEW, even smaller calibers

2020-10-22 03:30:11 UTC

. 40 cal is not that bad..its a fairly good defensive cartridge...the fbi used it for years. 10mm are abit to hight velocity for Self Defense in my opinion but not bad for other applications..like hunting...though I'd use a wheelgun for huntn purposes

2020-10-22 03:31:00 UTC

tru. I heard a story of an old man up in AK. apparently the guy got to be a bit of a local legend cause' he killed a bunch of grizzlies with a 30-30.

2020-10-22 03:31:14 UTC

in most cases, he reportedly only used one or two shots and got near instant drops

2020-10-22 03:32:03 UTC

I have honestly been looking into getting a 380 sup-compact aswell, and just carrying a few extra mags.

2020-10-22 03:32:33 UTC

idk if I want to go that small though, if only for the intimidation factor. :/

2020-10-22 03:33:06 UTC

im thinking of asking for a Henry .22LR lever rifle for Christmas. it would be my first real gun

2020-10-22 03:33:54 UTC

solid choice from what I've heard.

2020-10-22 03:34:18 UTC

i just want an ak

2020-10-22 03:34:28 UTC

@Kaiser Wilhelm II I'd say the Henry golden boy because lever Gats are fun

2020-10-22 03:36:11 UTC

If you want to save a couple hundred bucks, mossberg makes a 22 levergun as well. I doubt it is as smooth though. :/

2020-10-22 03:37:10 UTC

Oh I think I heard the same story about an old'n fellow blasting bears...30-30 is a decent cartridge for many ***issues***šŸ‘€

2020-10-22 03:37:32 UTC

indeed. mild recoil aswell

2020-10-22 03:37:35 UTC

what about 50 ae?

2020-10-22 03:37:59 UTC

i love the look of the golden boy but its a little pricey in my opinion. i was gonna ask for a henry replica bb gun but then i looked at the .22LR price and was like "fuck me, why pay 200 for a bb gun when you can get the .22 for another 100 bucks

2020-10-22 03:38:00 UTC

never used it. I imagine its nice out of a pcc tho

2020-10-22 03:38:28 UTC

Probably not on lever from mossberg, I'll probably keep buying Shotys from them

2020-10-22 03:39:03 UTC

Henry's are worth it..quality stuff most of time

2020-10-22 03:39:07 UTC

I got the 30-30 mossberg. it is ok, but doesn't like certain ammo. :/
