There is a reason why in the late 1800s/ early 1900s, every major military on the planet switched to bolt-action rifles
It’s a mag fed lever gun
Is it that Browning BLR?
Henry long ranger
So that doesn’t matter
interesting, im not familiar with that one.
Hmm
I just love Henry’s
So balanced and easy to shoulder
Are you a handloader?
Also good butt pad
No but I want to get into that
yo it has a detachable mag? O_O that's neat
Yes
very nice gun
And lever guns are faster than boltys
You can cook up .308 loads for virtually anything in the way of medium sized game and .308 projectiles are very easy to find
well, to the point of speed, I'd say it comes down to practice. in most cases, most people shoot fast on a lever gat, but I have seen some wicked times on bolt guns too.
Imma think more about it
right, and you have more types of projectiles for .308 such as ap and tracers
The only issue I see with making that switch is going to be from a maintenance standpoint
Thanks for the help
But that's a separate issue
That basically comes down to parts and magazine availability
I've some fast bolt throwers
That shoot accurately as well
Semi auto Uzi was for sell at the Gunshow for 5k...Oof
Another thing about maintenance is takedown and cleaning. Leverguns usually have a lot of small pins and screws involved, which most either find frustrating or enjoyable to deal with.
Picked up a ruger sp100 wheelgat
nice m8
357
very nice
Under 800
Sexy
seems reasonable
Few Kel-tech KSGs there but I wanted a wheelcannon
kel techs are cool, but I would not personally want one. The just look heavy. :/
call me a wus, but I am starting to really appreciate light weight guns
There a cool factor to owning one probably to me there no heavier than a trick'd-out M590,500
