I have had the high capacity Ruger mags for the 1022 jam way too often, the 10 round mags are mostly flawless. If you're going to go with larger cap mags, I've had better luck with Archangel mags than the Ruger. ... go figure.

If you think 20mm ammo is expensive, price a weapon to fire one.

I've got two 25 round 10/22 mags and I haven't had any issues. I've shot probably 5 mags of it

It jammed once but it was because of the ammo.

at summer camp a few years ago someone managed to screw up loading with a .22 rifle

Maybe with a stronger rubber band, the bolt movement and heat will snap it after a few "clips"
