I wondered where all my brass went...you Brass Gremlin 🤣 @Lucario what did you have fun with?

2020-11-19 21:50:53 UTC

Just several different 22lr rifles didn't feel like getting the big stuff out

2020-11-19 21:51:19 UTC

I almost reeled a 5 gallon bucket up with brass today

2020-11-19 21:59:55 UTC

I can understand that some times you just want to plink the steel with a soft shooter

2020-11-19 21:59:59 UTC

That’s a lot of bullets

2020-11-19 22:00:30 UTC

He reloads so its worth it

2020-11-19 22:01:02 UTC

That reminds me, I’m actually running a little low on my 22 ammo.

2020-11-19 22:01:31 UTC

Lucario you got a suppressor for ur .22s

2020-11-19 22:02:02 UTC

I'm good I've been stockpiling

2020-11-19 22:02:07 UTC

You don’t really need those for .22s

2020-11-19 22:03:14 UTC

I haven’t made it to the gun store to buy ammo because the gun store is always packed.

2020-11-19 22:04:15 UTC

Strange reason but ok

2020-11-19 22:06:31 UTC

I'll probably have a 5gal can filled w brass coming up during Thanksgiving....I've got a friend that reloads..I give him brass and I get 1/2 off ammo from him

2020-11-19 23:01:51 UTC

Any advise on how I can get this reproduction M1 Carbine Sling through a Ruger 10/22 M1 Carbine front sling point? I can’t get it to swing out other wise I could get it through in a jiffy and I would be asking a stupid question. Thanks to anyone if they have advise.

2020-11-19 23:03:47 UTC

Is that a screw that is holding the front sling point?

2020-11-19 23:05:15 UTC

Yes. Can’t tell what size. Maybe 3mm Allen. 4mm is too big and 1/8in is too small.

2020-11-19 23:06:38 UTC

Have you tried WD40 to see if you can get it to move?

2020-11-19 23:07:50 UTC

Not enough

2020-11-19 23:10:10 UTC

If you can get it to move some, have you tried to see if you can get a shim under it and slowly try and put more under it to get it up?

2020-11-19 23:11:20 UTC

May need to rinse and repeat with the WD-40 while doing that and letting the WD-40 sit.

2020-11-19 23:12:04 UTC

No. Ok. I don’t know is I have the right bit for it though.

2020-11-19 23:13:19 UTC

Because you didn't have the right bit was why I suggested the slowly prying up the clip. Obviously getting the right bit is the best option.

2020-11-19 23:16:08 UTC

I’ll go searching and if I don’t have it then I’ll go to Harbor freight for some cheap ones.

2020-11-19 23:16:28 UTC

Wish I knew exactly what size though

2020-11-19 23:22:53 UTC

Do you know a friend/family/neighbor who is handy and may have lots of tools including a large allen set?

2020-11-19 23:39:12 UTC

oh lol i'm such a dumbass! I pray too God I can go. i doubt it though. :/

2020-11-19 23:39:18 UTC

I don’t know that much about guns, hopefully I can learn some more things here

2020-11-19 23:39:45 UTC

Where I am it takes like 8 months to get a firearm though

2020-11-19 23:39:52 UTC

AH HA!!! 9/64!

2020-11-19 23:41:09 UTC

Nice

2020-11-19 23:53:57 UTC

Some states take about that long even in the US. That's why I'm thankful to live in a free state.

2020-11-19 23:56:03 UTC

Unfortunately I’m talking about the US.... Connecticut

2020-11-19 23:56:41 UTC

Funnily enough the first gun I ever shot was in California at my Cousin’s ranch

2020-11-20 00:02:14 UTC

I hear about the gun access problem for many states but oddly haven't really heard anything about Connecticut.

2020-11-20 00:03:57 UTC

From what my uncle has told me CT seems worse than CA

2020-11-20 00:04:14 UTC

That’s probably because no one here tries to get a gun

2020-11-20 00:04:30 UTC

doubt it its worse, but I hear its pretty horendous.

2020-11-20 00:04:41 UTC

horrendous*

2020-11-20 00:04:49 UTC

Yeah

2020-11-20 00:08:15 UTC

jeez, I am still trying to figure out exactly what the hell Northam got passed this year. you would think VA would try to inform it's citizens of updates in the law if they really believed 20 round mags were such an imminent threat too humanity. -_-

2020-11-20 00:09:01 UTC

looks like sb16, the most controversial one was struck down, but everything else I have found appears to have passed. :/
