jeez, I understand the barrel and lower, but triggers aren't in stock?

2020-11-20 20:50:32 UTC

rip bro.

2020-11-20 20:51:47 UTC

Also the EOTech sight has only come in stock in tan which would look really weird on an otherwise all black gun.

2020-11-20 20:52:09 UTC

guys how about a 22 for home defense <:dogekek:726878872607653918>

2020-11-20 20:52:37 UTC

that's the only AR we have in the house xD

2020-11-20 20:52:53 UTC

It's definitely better than not having a gun, and I've recommended many times on the server people get a 22 if they've never shot guns before because it's very cheap to train with.

2020-11-20 20:53:01 UTC

true

2020-11-20 20:53:07 UTC

its better than nothing, but I would rather use a club than a .22. just me tho

2020-11-20 20:53:16 UTC

hm

2020-11-20 20:53:55 UTC

then again, me and bros used to spar with various blunt weapons, and I generally am not too afraid of getting up close to my oponent.

2020-11-20 20:54:11 UTC

so I feel confident because of prior exp, and nothing more

2020-11-20 20:54:22 UTC

the .22 lets you creat distance

2020-11-20 20:54:29 UTC

so it may be better

2020-11-20 20:54:29 UTC

Wow Lucky Gunner is overpriced in 9mm, the 9mm on the home page is $1.50 a round.

2020-11-20 20:55:02 UTC

gold dot?

2020-11-20 20:55:20 UTC

how much does it normally go for

2020-11-20 20:56:36 UTC

Yep, even the overpriced HST self defense rounds which are normally higher rated then the gold dot for self defense normally sells for 45 cents a round and the over priced I bought for my father with the riots was only a dollar a round.

2020-11-20 20:57:02 UTC

wow yeah that's up there for sure

2020-11-20 20:57:43 UTC

Lucky Gunner is also selling 5.56 blanks for 47 cents a round.

2020-11-20 20:58:29 UTC

jeez thats a racket.

2020-11-20 20:58:48 UTC

I guess if you got a can-cannon, you could use that, but who else is buying blanks rn?

2020-11-20 21:01:19 UTC

Maybe for people that live in California and can't actually use self-defense.

2020-11-20 21:01:32 UTC

Still probably get arrested for making the criminal fear for their life.

2020-11-20 21:01:38 UTC

hmm. sad but true.

2020-11-20 21:02:22 UTC

David you trust targetsport pretty well then? we might try to get some

2020-11-20 21:02:23 UTC

here in VA, I am pretty sure you can be arrested if your nerf gun looks to realistic (aka black spray paint).

2020-11-20 21:02:30 UTC

probably

2020-11-20 21:02:49 UTC

I've bought a few thousand rounds and a few thousand dollars worth of ammo from Target sports USA without any problems.

2020-11-20 21:03:22 UTC

Ammo also comes in a discreet brown box without any branding so people won't know what you bought.

2020-11-20 21:03:44 UTC

cool

2020-11-20 21:03:46 UTC

Unless they're wondering why your small brown box weighs 45 lb.

2020-11-20 21:03:50 UTC

<:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-11-20 21:04:13 UTC

any specific brand I should try to get?

2020-11-20 21:07:17 UTC

For 9mm not in the current conditions I like Wolf Performance, it's cheap russian steel case that goes for normally ten cents a round. Currently thou the price I saw it go in stock last time is not worth it. for 9 mil self-defense I like federal premium law enforcement HST. For 5.56 I bought ammo but haven't actually got to use it so don't feel comfortable recommending what I got even though it was a good price when I got it.

2020-11-20 21:07:39 UTC

mkay

2020-11-20 21:08:05 UTC

My friends recommend for 223 wolf polyformance if you can get it around 20 cents a round, any more then 25 cents a round it's not worth it for training ammo.

2020-11-20 21:08:15 UTC

ok

2020-11-20 21:08:41 UTC

thanks

2020-11-20 21:55:29 UTC

so here in SD, minors (under 18) are allowed to own AR's, purchase them from unauthorized dealers, and receive them as gifts, afaict anyway. does that mean someone can go out and buy an AR and give it to a minor? does it have to be a parent or legal guardian of the minor? or can no one do that?

2020-11-20 21:58:49 UTC

I don't know about South Dakota but where I live you can gift a minor a rifle in a private transfer but it can't be the minor giving money to buy or that's a straw purchase. As for who can gift, I don't think there's any limitations where I live.

2020-11-20 21:59:07 UTC

oh I see
