Is Vox a left leaning channel? I can’t recall
Yeah
Very
Steven Crowder has debunked them multiple times
He has debunked their very existence
Not wrong
Dang I just hate spending money
And 650 for a basic AR is so much
Not wrong
But if you want an ar at an excellent price point get the springfield saint
Now, it's about 800-850 but the components used on could easily be charged around 1,000-1,100
A bit out of my budget at this point unfortunately
If anyone has a good link to a AR build kit lesson 700 then feel free to post it
Here
Oh
That's not a build kit
But it's 760 dollars
Also, I’m assuming they’re going to be out of stock almost everywhere lol
The Saint? More than likely, but that goes for every ar that isn't uber overpriced really
I called a local gun store where I bought my pistol and the guy said he had an upper and lower receiver from two different brands that he’ll sell for 650 and I think I might be getting that tomorrow.
Yeah go for it
As long as it's ar platform it doesn't matter
Besides you can always replace parts later on
That's the beauty of the platform
Also chrome lined is generally better than nitride
Saint is good rifle
Do you have to get a special upper for a 6.5 creedmoor ar
Or just a different bolt
@Winnie37a Totally bombing the conversation. The bolt is normally the same. You obviously need to build it from an action that supports .308. 6.5CM is a necked down .308 Winchester essentially. Obviously you need a new barrel and I'd drop in a new bolt to go with it just so they wear together. I assume AR10? Sometimes they're a little more problematic as there are several different dimensional standards for receivers, unlike the AR15 platform.
Barrel swaps are usually a piece of cake for the ARs. Check the headspace just to be sure. I've never had a problem, but worth checking. Go/No-Go gauges are cheap and at least give you an idea if it's reasonably safe or not.
Thanks for the info
Wait
6.5 creedmore AR can only exist as an AR10 because it needs the bigger magwel than the AR15 can fit
Yus
Absolutely has to be an AR10 or something larger (If we're talking AR's exclusively). I think Nemo makes a .338LM and a few others in their extended action, but that's something entirely different. I've heard the 6.5 Grendel was a good intermediate range cartridge for the AR15; but that was before the .224 Valkyrie. I haven't shot either but the velocities are good an the BC's are relatively high for the heavier bullets. I do like my 6.5CM.
Depends on what you want to do. I personally love to ding the steel plates as far out as I possibly can. The range I usually shoot at had a target at ~900 yards. Where I'm at, its hard to find a place to stretch it out farther with a good line of sight, a good backdrop, and no random ATV traffic.
So you guys ever changed sights on a APX pistol?
Turned this into....
