Is Vox a left leaning channel? I can’t recall

2020-11-24 03:07:07 UTC

Yeah

2020-11-24 03:07:09 UTC

Very

2020-11-24 03:07:27 UTC

Steven Crowder has debunked them multiple times

2020-11-24 03:08:46 UTC

He has debunked their very existence

2020-11-24 03:09:22 UTC

Not wrong

2020-11-24 03:39:27 UTC

Dang I just hate spending money

2020-11-24 03:39:44 UTC

And 650 for a basic AR is so much

2020-11-24 03:51:15 UTC

Not wrong

2020-11-24 03:51:35 UTC

But if you want an ar at an excellent price point get the springfield saint

2020-11-24 03:52:17 UTC

Now, it's about 800-850 but the components used on could easily be charged around 1,000-1,100

2020-11-24 03:53:07 UTC

A bit out of my budget at this point unfortunately

2020-11-24 03:53:27 UTC

If anyone has a good link to a AR build kit lesson 700 then feel free to post it

2020-11-24 03:53:32 UTC

Here

2020-11-24 03:53:33 UTC

Oh

2020-11-24 03:53:41 UTC

That's not a build kit

2020-11-24 03:53:53 UTC

But it's 760 dollars

2020-11-24 03:53:58 UTC

Also, I’m assuming they’re going to be out of stock almost everywhere lol

2020-11-24 03:54:33 UTC

The Saint? More than likely, but that goes for every ar that isn't uber overpriced really

2020-11-24 03:54:58 UTC

Yeah

2020-11-24 03:55:27 UTC

I called a local gun store where I bought my pistol and the guy said he had an upper and lower receiver from two different brands that he’ll sell for 650 and I think I might be getting that tomorrow.

2020-11-24 03:56:37 UTC

Yeah go for it

2020-11-24 03:56:52 UTC

As long as it's ar platform it doesn't matter

2020-11-24 03:57:05 UTC

Besides you can always replace parts later on

2020-11-24 03:57:28 UTC

That's the beauty of the platform

2020-11-24 04:02:13 UTC

Also chrome lined is generally better than nitride

2020-11-24 05:01:33 UTC

Saint is good rifle

2020-11-24 05:19:50 UTC

Do you have to get a special upper for a 6.5 creedmoor ar

2020-11-24 05:19:56 UTC

Or just a different bolt

2020-11-24 05:31:02 UTC

@Winnie37a Totally bombing the conversation. The bolt is normally the same. You obviously need to build it from an action that supports .308. 6.5CM is a necked down .308 Winchester essentially. Obviously you need a new barrel and I'd drop in a new bolt to go with it just so they wear together. I assume AR10? Sometimes they're a little more problematic as there are several different dimensional standards for receivers, unlike the AR15 platform.

2020-11-24 05:33:35 UTC

Barrel swaps are usually a piece of cake for the ARs. Check the headspace just to be sure. I've never had a problem, but worth checking. Go/No-Go gauges are cheap and at least give you an idea if it's reasonably safe or not.

2020-11-24 05:36:22 UTC

Thanks for the info

2020-11-24 05:40:02 UTC

Wait

2020-11-24 05:40:58 UTC

6.5 creedmore AR can only exist as an AR10 because it needs the bigger magwel than the AR15 can fit

2020-11-24 05:42:44 UTC

Yus

2020-11-24 06:01:56 UTC

Absolutely has to be an AR10 or something larger (If we're talking AR's exclusively). I think Nemo makes a .338LM and a few others in their extended action, but that's something entirely different. I've heard the 6.5 Grendel was a good intermediate range cartridge for the AR15; but that was before the .224 Valkyrie. I haven't shot either but the velocities are good an the BC's are relatively high for the heavier bullets. I do like my 6.5CM.

2020-11-24 06:08:17 UTC

Depends on what you want to do. I personally love to ding the steel plates as far out as I possibly can. The range I usually shoot at had a target at ~900 yards. Where I'm at, its hard to find a place to stretch it out farther with a good line of sight, a good backdrop, and no random ATV traffic.

2020-11-24 06:14:31 UTC

So you guys ever changed sights on a APX pistol?
