Cool cool

2020-12-01 21:40:13 UTC

I was looking at getting one of those @LT.DanπŸ”₯😁😎 need a .22 for my suppressor πŸ˜›

2020-12-01 21:45:56 UTC

I need a 7.62 can

2020-12-01 21:46:18 UTC

I've got 9mm, .223

2020-12-01 21:46:42 UTC

Probably should find a multi caliber can

2020-12-01 21:47:25 UTC

what are these cans you speak of

Nice rifle, depending on what you're planning on doing with it. Will easily take small game inside 100 yds. For personal defense, it'll poke a hole in an aggressor and may alter his decisions, but its a bit n the small side.

2020-12-01 21:48:08 UTC

I own one, its one of my favorite .22LR rifles.

2020-12-01 21:52:24 UTC

hey im looking for a handgun to CC, does anyone have a recommendation. prefer 9mm

2020-12-01 21:55:31 UTC

Depends on your state, then your preferences

2020-12-01 21:57:04 UTC

CC is legal in my state, i just wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations in handguns to try out.

2020-12-01 22:03:36 UTC

Sigs are good

2020-12-01 22:03:53 UTC

Glock 43X
Sig P365
CZ75
S&W M&P Shield EZ

I carry the Glock 43X with the Shield Arms s15 15 round mag, and another with a 5 round extension as a backup mag.

2020-12-01 22:07:31 UTC

NOTE: the Shield Arms S15 mag requires a change out of the mag release button. The mags are steel and they wear a bit on the polymer release. But I planned on switching out the release anyway to an extended, so that was a non-issue for me

2020-12-01 22:09:32 UTC

p365 is not poggers

2020-12-01 22:09:52 UTC

too ugly

2020-12-01 22:11:37 UTC

I was looking between the Glock 43x and the sig p365, but I will checkout the other CZ and S&W

2020-12-01 22:13:13 UTC

Ugly doesn't shoot. Don't care what it looks like if it puts rounds on target accurately and with dispatch.

2020-12-01 22:14:37 UTC

Find a range that will let you shoot a variety of weapons. and see what best fits your hand when firing. I'm a great fat man with big hands and needed to fill out the grip a bit on the 43X

2020-12-01 22:16:05 UTC

Every gun will have a different feel when shooting and some fit better than others. better to shoot a few before dropping several hundred $$$$

2020-12-01 22:18:22 UTC

Oh, what drove my choice of the 43X was the availability of a 15 round mag. The more the merrier.

2020-12-01 22:20:36 UTC

^ good advice. the p365 also has extendo mags up to 15 so there's that too

2020-12-01 22:25:25 UTC

For me the grip length of the P365 was just a little short for comfort and required the 15 round mag extension to be close to comfortable. The 43X 15 round mag is the same length as the standard 10 round mag. But thats me.

2020-12-01 22:26:25 UTC

yeah everyone is going to be different. I'm medium-ish build and the 12 round mag worked fine for me on the 365. no way I could use the 10 rounders though

2020-12-01 22:27:00 UTC

then again my Sig P938 is great in my hand

2020-12-01 22:27:31 UTC

even just seeing how the grip feels in hand at a gun store is better than just assuming

2020-12-01 22:34:08 UTC

I just can't get comfortable with my pinky hanging off the end of the grip and the 12 round left about half my pinky in space. I carried a Glock 19 for years, nice full grip, std 15 rounds, big fat pistol. The 43X is a shorter barrel and a much narrower firearm which doesn't print as much when concealed. So its very similar to the G19 in a slimmer package. Works fer me.

2020-12-01 22:37:52 UTC

Have you tried Desert Eagles before?

2020-12-01 22:38:17 UTC

They seem a lot larger then Glocks

2020-12-01 22:45:34 UTC

I've carried full-frame firearms in the past and they print way too much for concealed carry. Not as big a problem now in Texas since they went with open carry, but could be a real issue if you want it concealed.

2020-12-01 22:48:09 UTC

ah i see

2020-12-01 22:49:16 UTC

wait, technically could we just not make a cut down version of the Desert Eagle? one that holds the same stopping power, but is more easy to conceal, and therefore better

2020-12-01 22:50:44 UTC

big part of the reason the DE is so big is because bigger frame = less felt recoil

2020-12-01 22:50:55 UTC

and .50 AE + small frame = wrist cracker

2020-12-01 22:51:29 UTC

even 9mm in the small P938 frame feels snappy. can't imagine anything bigger

2020-12-01 22:52:50 UTC

Being a great fat man, with a blown right rotator cuff and a bad right elbow I can't carry at 3 or 4 o'clock or spine, and refuse to carry at front (Rule #2), so I have to carry in cross draw at about 10:30. So a large frame prints easy on me.

2020-12-01 22:53:24 UTC

DE makes firearms in several calibers, but they are full frame.

2020-12-01 22:53:37 UTC

I'm well aware

2020-12-01 22:53:47 UTC

my point is .50AE in small frame would be fucking stupid
