True
I have small hands, so that might be worse for me and better for you
yeah, I have great fat mitts I like the large grip
I had to build out the grip on the 43X
I'm torn between a Sig P320 or a Berretta M9A3. Anyone have either of those or have some pointers.
I have an RX Compact, nice firearm, handles well, nice trigger OOTB.
P229?
I have a Legion Compact. I don't like the flare on the mags, my pinky rides on it and its distracting. Great trigger and sights OOTB, slide release is ok, could be a little more proud of the frame. Handles well.
Note: I am part owner of a gun range and have purchased some 300 handguns for the range and shoot them all from time to time.
I like my m9a3
Nice. How does it shoot
Love it nothing better then steel frame
Plus a company just started doing cutting on berettas so u can put red dot on them idk if its only some models
How does the grip feel. I’ve heard people talk about how thick it is. I shoot sig a lot so I didn’t know if it was any thicker than that.
Its not bad, I have smaller hands and don't have issues with it but I am also using the thick grip covers now it does come witj a thiner grip cover too
price range?
The Barretta is just slightly slimmer than the Sig, don't think you'd notice without measuring. I like a little more knuckle clearance under the trigger guard than an M9 provides, but other than that, fine weapon.
800 to 900 used on today market but today market is high cuz of election
ah, yea I noticed
Yup I saw one few days ago going for 850 I would say thats good price till republican gets back in office if trump loses i court
ik u werent asking me, but I remember the sig226 only feeling slightly smaller than a beretta. as small as the dif. is, Berettas certainly do feel chunky, which I personally love.
replied to the wrong thing,
but ye
oh its slimmer?
Only slightly, its a little deeper than the Sig though and that will make it feel a little chunky.
Sorry its cold here
ahh gotcha bar. Thanks
idk why I thought the beretta was bigger. maybe just the one I got to check out was?
Go to a store or a range that has both and lay them out, shake hands with 'em
Thats how I got my gf her glock 42 I got sick of paying ones she didn't like took her to range and had her shoot 5 different ones and she picked the glock42
smart.
My wife carried the 42 until I bought her a 43X
now I have a 42 in a box
She carried a Kel-Tec PMR-30 bbefore that
I took her out to shoot the 43x she just dont like it i think 9mm to much recoil for her 5 3 110 lbs
If she doesn't like to shoot it she will not carry it so at lease she carries the 42
So on the topic of that m9. I have a p2022 with a after market rubber grip.
My wife is 5-2 and 112 lbs. She says the 42 is snappier than the 43X, go figure. Then again her 43X has a light/laser under the barrel and that may make the difference. Then again-again, she likes to shoot my .45cal Ruger SR1911, too, so there's that, she grew up shooting competition clays with a Benelli 12ga.
