@sixfivebyfiftyfive well, clearing a building you don't know what's inside so

2020-12-04 17:00:39 UTC

true

2020-12-04 17:00:44 UTC

If your really worried about penetration run a shotgun

2020-12-04 17:00:45 UTC

no pistol as in pistol caliber, just in AR @sixfivebyfiftyfive

2020-12-04 17:00:55 UTC

wut

2020-12-04 17:00:56 UTC

oh gotcha

2020-12-04 17:01:00 UTC

these are real shit arguments lol

2020-12-04 17:01:26 UTC

Here is my thing. During the event that anything happens needing me to take my firearms and get out I don’t want 5 different kinds of ammo. If anything I’m taking my LAR-8 which is 7.62x51, my AR pistol in 9mm(when I get one😢), and my Sig P2022 or M9 (when I get one).

2020-12-04 17:01:31 UTC

"just do what I want because I don't understand the use case"

2020-12-04 17:02:27 UTC

@Phoenix 3-1 yeah I can understand that. I'd probably run 5.56/.300/9mm

2020-12-04 17:02:35 UTC

I mean most everything i have is eithor 5.56, 7.62x39, or 7.62x51 or .40/.45 for pistols

2020-12-04 17:03:13 UTC

I’ve seen those .45 pistols. Big.

2020-12-04 17:03:14 UTC

I want .45 but prefer 9 just because that’s what I’m getting the AR pistol in

2020-12-04 17:03:19 UTC

I have a lot of different calibers

2020-12-04 17:03:28 UTC

But i also have a defendable property so i wont be wandering arround

2020-12-04 17:03:43 UTC

^^

2020-12-04 17:03:51 UTC

@Phoenix 3-1 why not both? 🙂

2020-12-04 17:04:05 UTC

something special about a suppressed HK USP .45 tactical

2020-12-04 17:04:18 UTC

Just get an AR-45 <:thinking:726878987837636698>

2020-12-04 17:04:28 UTC

no no it's AK-37 idiot

2020-12-04 17:04:29 UTC

If you get a good muzzle device and a decent tune on your gun, can 7.62x39 be as easy to control as 556? I just think the recoil (ik its not much more) might make it harder to put a lot of rounds down fast if I needed to, but I also want to buy something with more of a punch than 556.

2020-12-04 17:04:50 UTC

@sixfivebyfiftyfive it's more akin to .300 blackout supersonic if you've ever shot that

2020-12-04 17:05:08 UTC

UMP45 with a silenecer is my dream gun

2020-12-04 17:05:43 UTC

I’m not a big fan of .300 if I was gonna get an AR pistol in something other than 9 it would be 5.56

2020-12-04 17:05:51 UTC

I want a lever action Henry

2020-12-04 17:06:02 UTC

7.62x39 brakes are easy to come by and are way easier to controll than people say

2020-12-04 17:06:13 UTC

nope. for rifles, I shot .22, 556, and 30-30. that's it

2020-12-04 17:06:19 UTC

I paid like $10 for my slant

2020-12-04 17:06:49 UTC

Plus my RPK shoots fast and accurite with the bipod

2020-12-04 17:06:50 UTC

@CyberSpacePirate look into TommyBuilt. he does USC->UMP conversions

2020-12-04 17:07:09 UTC

was thinking for awhile I'd get a G36 from him

2020-12-04 17:07:25 UTC

@sixfivebyfiftyfive between a 5.56 and 30-30

2020-12-04 17:07:36 UTC

not crazy, pretty controllable

2020-12-04 17:07:46 UTC

especially with a muzzle brake like you said

2020-12-04 17:07:54 UTC

I’m more of a marksman kind of guy. I’m not really gonna be running around. I’m a sit in a ghillie suit in a bush person.
