Honestly. Me and some buddies got a plan on defense of an area that we have chosen.

Like an area that you regurally patrol and keep an eye on but dont directly stop people or defend the ground

Somehere where trying to defend would stretch you too thin but its good to keep an eye on the area

My job is to sit and do nothing unless it is attacked from that side. Then I sit and wait. Basically I let the hostiles pass me then start picking them off from behind

Make sure you and your friends arnt in eachothers range of fire

If you're defending something, instead of patrolling. Set up very well concealed guard posts and watch the area from that. Then just find a way to quietly communicate to the other guard posts
