idk about south dakota but if its a red state im going to assume its generally like GA shotgun and rifle @18 and handgun @21 no permit unless conceal carry

according to google, here in SD I can own a handgun at 18

We have no permit needed to carry Concealed at 21 tho since 21 is legal age to own handguns

Own meaning family buys it for and u can have it at range and home not to carry Concealed as a EDC and that cuz of fed laws that we have to obey
