As for ppl under 18 in south dakota u can still own rifles and handguns just have to have ur parents buy and hold on to the them till ur of age

according to google, here in SD I can own a handgun at 18

Own meaning family buys it for and u can have it at range and home not to carry Concealed as a EDC and that cuz of fed laws that we have to obey
