so its a minigun, but instead of those big 40 mm fired from aircraft cannons, it shoots 40×46mm grenades

I havent seen zeds new episode yet, but I think I may make that my disc status xD

2020-12-11 19:56:37 UTC

Yep, it's a .308

2020-12-11 20:12:52 UTC

Can you shoot 7.62 out of a 308 gun? Or are that gasses different

2020-12-11 20:12:58 UTC

Pressures

2020-12-11 20:19:36 UTC

I *think* 7.62x51 can be fired out of a .308, but not vice versa, but dont take my word as gospel.

2020-12-11 20:20:27 UTC

dont try to fire 7.62x39 out of a 51/308 though, like I think my poppee almost did xD

2020-12-11 20:24:33 UTC

okay so yes. that said, its probably best to fire whatever is inscribed on the barrel.

I believe the reason a 7.62 can go in a .308 though, is primarily because .308 was remington's way to get into the market with a nearly identical round to what many of the troops were using at the time. They ofc focused developing the .308 for precision shooting as they figured many non-vets would also take an interest in it for competition and hunting.

2020-12-11 20:41:35 UTC

Why does ammo have to be expensive right now.

2020-12-11 20:46:06 UTC

This is probably one of the coolest guns I’ve ever seen

2020-12-11 21:02:41 UTC

I can find .308 easily

2020-12-11 21:14:22 UTC

what would be an affordable rifle to have in NY?

2020-12-11 21:15:04 UTC

PTR91 is a good battle rifle

2020-12-11 21:15:10 UTC

Wait

2020-12-11 21:15:23 UTC

You meant actual battle rifle right?

2020-12-11 21:15:31 UTC

Me and my dad could not find any .350 legend bullets so we had to buy the casings, bullets powder all separate and make the bullets

2020-12-11 21:15:39 UTC

Nice

2020-12-11 21:16:04 UTC

I don't know a lot about guns just would like to have a legal firearm in NY

2020-12-11 21:16:46 UTC

Well shotguns do well in close quarters so that would be my first pick if I was living in the city

2020-12-11 21:17:06 UTC

don't live in the city

2020-12-11 21:17:25 UTC

I would regret being born there if I did

2020-12-11 21:18:05 UTC

Well I just like shotguns in general

2020-12-11 21:18:49 UTC

same but I would prefer a rifle

2020-12-11 21:19:07 UTC

would love to fire a double action shotgun someday

2020-12-11 21:20:06 UTC

Would this rifle be for home defense or just shooting the cat next door when he wanders into your yard?
