an it's runaway full auto
not the good kind
My great-grandpa hung a Japanese arisaka on his wall b/c he was shot with one in wwii, but the one he had was a late production model. Apparently most of those asian countries were putting out really poor guns towards the end of the war, because they didnt even have enough ammo to worry about the guns being fired. :/
ye thats scary
had it happen once
But sks only hold 10 rounds I think standard
thankfully for testing new guns I only load five rounds
it was five rounds into the ground
Or it might hold more I'm not sure
10 rounds is standard in surplus guns I think, but you can get kits to modify them for 20 and 30 round detachable mags
for sks's you can find ak mag adapters
Ak mag on a sks
What a Chad move
honestly, I would love to own a gun that feeds of stripper clips, just cause I think that would be pretty fun to shoot. Thats kinda why I might not buy an ar for my next rifle, but well see.
thats why I am interested in the sks
you got a 10/22?
10/22 with a binary trigger is the most fun you can have imo
I could use a .22 right now this squirrel is robbing me
nah. I got a mossberg 464. Its a good gun I think, but its been beyond difficult to get ammo for it, being a 30-30
but its been sold out for months
30-30 is ridiculous
I guess because it's so rare for people to use 30-30
They are expensive tok
Yoo
Too
People use a lot of 30-30 here
Marlin 333 I think
its a popular round, b/c a lot of guys hunt with it, but b/c they only hunt, they aren't shooting thousands of rounds each year. the result is that I assume manufacturers did not expect it too sell out and likely dont have the infustructure in place to keep up with demand. that is just a guess though.
Where I live hardly anyone uses it to hunt
Now 45-70 is popular
not really. maybe 65-80 cents a box for plinking grade ammo when the market is good. I'd say its comparable to a lot of .308 usually
True
rn however, they are ridicously hard to get, so guys are sell them for 3-4 bucks a round
selling*
And isnt 45-70 kinda over powered for deer
Gotta hit a neck or headshot to get any meat😂
its black-powder, so maybe not? it will likely wreck the meat though
ye <:KEK:726877368601411624>
Idk there's guys on our lease that use it
