its a popular round, b/c a lot of guys hunt with it, but b/c they only hunt, they aren't shooting thousands of rounds each year. the result is that I assume manufacturers did not expect it too sell out and likely dont have the infustructure in place to keep up with demand. that is just a guess though.

Torso shots are ideal but legs are lethal

Keep in mind any gov guy with armor shot of a cop has lvl4 ceramic and you wont punch through it short of a 50bmg

But hitting the plate with a heavy round will still knock them down and possibly break ribs
