Some do compare the average gun crime in Mexico to the worst crime US cities. However if you compare average to average it's not even close. Mexico also have some of the most gun crime cities in the world that put even our worst cities to shame.

And not just traditionally small population states but even fairly large states.

I was thinking since other places have a lower population, there will also be less people interested in shooting up schools.
