My great grandpa left a big bag full of shot in the garage when he passed that was probably north of 50 years old, but at the very least, old enough that the markings and letters on the bag had all but faded. My Papa (great-grandpas first born) was telling me how he thought it was probably sold for use in punt guns, even-though my family never had one. I guess my Grandpa bought the shot so he could melt it and cast slugs for his black powder rifles..? idk, anyways, that's the story I was told.
