i was like uhhh not sure
I can honestly appreciate airport security most times. They are very thorough (for obvious reasons) and usually don't seem to be the biggest dicks about things, if your cooperative. IME that is. xD
that said, they ask question about weird things, like computers and stuff
true. although something that are banned, are just silly imo
fr.
I think I flew with scissors in my carry one once, by accident, and they said nothing.
I know a guy who said he flew with a switchblade in his carry on, by mistake ofc, but they didnt catch that either xD
like how am i going to hijack a plane with a sharpend edge like 1/2 and inch on a multi tool card that fits in wallet
idk. I think some of the terrorists that hijacked the 9/11 planes had box cutters, that may be why?
box cutters? they didnt have guns?
maybe?
i never looked into what they used. but if box cutters. i would of went against that
i still rmember when there was no security in airports in the 90s
"The 19 terrorists easily smuggled box-cutters and knives through security at three East Coast airports and boarded four early-morning flights bound for California, chosen because the planes were loaded with fuel for the long transcontinental journey. Soon after takeoff, the terrorists commandeered the four planes and took the controls, transforming ordinary passenger jets into guided missiles." -found this on the history channels website
ngl, it does give me a mad respect for how dangerous even a box knife can be. I have been using those for various tasks around the house since I was very young, and at work, I seldom have second thoughs about giving them to co-workers who I only know somewhat.
I guess I just tend to forgot that they are still destructive instruments, albeit tools none-the-less :/
they must of locked the cabin door or something
God bless the people that stormed the cockpit and put that plane down in the field on 9/11

with all the rioting going on folks just can't seem to have enough of these
True enough
Which is why 3d printing is the way
Theres only so much 3d printing can do, besides that I'm not gonna trust my life to a polymer or other printing materials that's mostly made by Chicom.
