I think I’m starting to get used to shooting. Or at least building up a stronger tolerance. Woke up today after shooting shotguns (12 gauge, so not a ton of recoil) and not a single sense of pain. I do have a scrawny build tho and I haven’t been shooting real guns for long

2021-01-04 17:06:01 UTC

I’m 15 years old and finally was able to convince my stepdad to bring me shooting

2021-01-04 17:08:18 UTC

It starts hurting after you shoot about 100 shells without any kind of recoil pad šŸ’€

2021-01-04 17:08:52 UTC

And all you have on is a tee shirt

2021-01-04 17:35:47 UTC

Ive never had a problem as long as you keep it tight in your sholder

```May aliens legally in the United States purchase firearms?
An alien legally in the U.S. is not prohibited from purchasing firearms unless the alien is admitted into the U.S. under a nonimmigrant visa and does not meet one of the exceptions as provided in 18 U.S.C. 922(y)(2), such as possession of a valid hunting license or permit.
[18 U.S.C. 922 (d)(5), (g)(5) and (y)(2); 27 CFR 478.11 and 478.32(a)(5) ]```https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/may-aliens-legally-united-states-purchase-firearms
2021-01-04 17:51:00 UTC
Ah, that’s probably why...I probably shot around 100 shells, but I had a recoil pad and I was wearing a t shirt under a hoodie. šŸ˜‚
2021-01-04 17:51:49 UTC
Yes, tight to the shoulder too
2021-01-04 17:57:06 UTC
nice ducc! building up tolerance is def. a thing, but above all, good form is what prevents pain. good job keeping the gun tight to your shoulder, lost of new guys are scared to do that <:KEK:726877368601411624>
2021-01-04 17:58:05 UTC
thanks bro! I will continue to do some research on the subject when I get a bit of time.
Yeah, one of my stepdad’s friends brought his wife and she had the stereotypical ā€œwoman shooting stanceā€ and was also leaning back and ALMOST fell back and dropped the gun when the stock punched her in the shoulder b/c she wasn’t holding it tight to her shoulder
2021-01-04 18:02:25 UTC
If your friend is a permanent resident, he can purchase a firearm
2021-01-04 18:02:57 UTC
nonimmigrant alien refers to temporary visas like students or tourists
2021-01-04 18:27:49 UTC
ahh, gotcha.
2021-01-04 18:28:00 UTC
ye, he has lived here for a long time now
2021-01-04 18:28:10 UTC
so I assume he is perm
2021-01-04 20:48:08 UTC
My friend came to me with this old Remington model 7400, I cleaned it up for him and polished the wood. Smooth as butter now
2021-01-04 20:50:35 UTC
Correct!
2021-01-04 20:50:45 UTC
Beautiful
2021-01-04 20:51:19 UTC
I'm surprised the wood came out as good as it did. I wish I took a before picture
2021-01-04 20:54:29 UTC
Well it sure looks good
2021-01-04 20:56:13 UTC
Why thank you!
2021-01-04 20:56:56 UTC
``Hawaii: Let's Limit and Restrict who can use a gun for extra safety, that way we don't have young kids with no prior training fuk things up!
Also Hawaii: lets anyone 21 and over not require a license to use a firearm NOR any prior training is required``
....Yes Hawaii, that's how you totally protect your state from young kids who have no idea on how to safely protect themselves and others from a firearm.
That's totally how you keep your supposed leftist statistics that state "oH bUt kIdS WHo UsE GuNS bEcOMe VIOlEnt and SHOOt UP sChoOls!"
2021-01-04 20:57:57 UTC
I've been hunting since I was 5, I've never shot up a school. *FACT*
