Has anyone ever put a .308 in a rifle chambered in 7-08?

But it would just break the case and probly squib the 308
the 308 is a wider bullet, so it wouldnt seat in the barrel

7mm is a longer bullet I think so it wouldn’t fit
if it fired, it wouldnt have much force as it couldnt get a seal in the barrel

the case on the 7-08 is slightly longer. it wouldnt allow the bolt to close? cant fire out of battery

No they are great guns and conceals great and is very comfortable and it is rare for the trigger failure or any issues but it is heavy on some of them @TheDonnyV
