I've been playing a lot of Paper Mario: The Origami King. Everyone seems to be in this huge controversy while I'm simply playing the game and enjoying the hell out of it.
I genuinely can't understand the criticism. Sure, the battle system might be boring at first, but I assure you that it gets WAY more fun and meaningful after the 1st chapter. Coins are extremely useful, you spend a LOT of it at shops, and defeating enemies is one of the best way to get them.
My only real criticism is that I wish the max confetti increases were based on winning battles rather than story progression. Aside from that though, I thoroughly enjoyed Origami King from start to finish.
