Yokai watch is a game that is unique, adventurous, funny, mysterious, and bounds of content. The battle system consists of elements, targeting,item management, equipable items, soulmates that have a meter that is filled with certain items and crits, inspirit buffs/ debuffs/ status inflicts,purifying inspirits nad a wheel where there are 3 yokai on each side(in total 6) that is rotatable and tribe synergy. More specifically if you have yokai next to each other of the same tribe that causes a stat increase or an effect. There is also fusion and evolution. The campaign is you finding the yokai whisperer in a crank-a-kai who gives you the yokai watch that allows you to summon yokai. From there on you help yokai out with their situations until you find the son of enma and mccracken, the yokai who wnats to take over the yokai world as its ruler and wants to kill the son of enma. In post game you fight in the infinite inferno and 5 extra bosses. The game also has a great unique online scene.The games dialogue and yokai create the amazing feeling of playing this game. It has amazing music that helps set the atmosphere very well. Its grindy in post game and the rng recruiting is bad, same thing with not knowing the yokais favorite food, but all in all yokai watch is a 9/10
