Christianity isnt based off Socrates philosophies!

2020-10-28 17:42:17 UTC

@CoolGuard @(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Hug god ♥ yes I completely agree sir. Definitely find a church that bases it’s teachings and sermons off of verses. The Bible is the foundation for our faith.

2020-10-28 17:42:42 UTC

And Jesus of course!

2020-10-28 17:43:15 UTC

God never said life would be easy. He said it would be hard, that we would face trials and tribulations

2020-10-28 17:45:17 UTC

@Osha19 Zoroastrianism is a good 1500 years older than christ, and no, but it has the same moral ideas and ideals

2020-10-28 17:45:59 UTC

Older than Christ?

2020-10-28 17:46:03 UTC

ofc its older than christ

2020-10-28 17:46:12 UTC

@CoolGuard yes my point was to find a church that wouldn’t necessarily preach everything is easy, but instead be accepting and not push someone away for sinning. Being accepting is not the same as misconstruing life to be easy,

Chaz you say you will be open minded but you refute every bits of evidence we give you on numerous levels. because it simply doesnt fit your beliefs. Evidence is NOT something that changes from person to person. It isnt something you infer. There is hard evidence to a lot of the things we argue. But again you refute it all asking for proper evidence. What we give you is proper evidence. You still reject it. This gets tiring and shows that you do not wish to have an open mind on a lot of things. This leads to poor conversations and debates that lead no where.

2020-10-28 17:47:26 UTC

@Eagle i'm not christian but amen

2020-10-28 17:47:56 UTC

@Osha19 would you like more bible lines that prove my point?

2020-10-28 17:48:31 UTC

> also check out zoroastrianism for christian lite
If something is “Christian but-“ then that’s not. Christianity is such that it is only compatible with Christ.

2020-10-28 17:49:20 UTC

Have you spent hours properly meditated in them? or have you just read them and interpreted them to fit your own beliefs?

2020-10-28 17:50:14 UTC

I read the literal definintion of the words presented

2020-10-28 17:50:55 UTC

That is not meditating on the verse and that is an inaccurate interpretation of what the verse is trying to convey than

2020-10-28 17:51:06 UTC

@chaz @Osha19 you both are right.

2020-10-28 17:51:14 UTC

Not completely

2020-10-28 17:51:22 UTC

But points of your arguments are right

2020-10-28 17:51:46 UTC

@chaz the Leviticus verse for example

2020-10-28 17:51:56 UTC

Means exactly what you think it does

2020-10-28 17:52:03 UTC

Eagle you cannot take a verse in the bible and just get a definition from words definitions. Its not a cut clear book.

2020-10-28 17:52:09 UTC

Homosexuality is a sin.

2020-10-28 17:52:30 UTC

Based on the teachings of Christianity for thousands of years

2020-10-28 17:52:34 UTC

But

2020-10-28 17:52:41 UTC

Jesus preached that all of us sin

2020-10-28 17:52:43 UTC

For example

2020-10-28 17:53:08 UTC

Your sin carries as much weight in God’s eyes as a gay man’s

2020-10-28 17:53:10 UTC

You like

2020-10-28 17:53:15 UTC

If you lie

2020-10-28 17:53:19 UTC

That’s just as bad

2020-10-28 17:53:24 UTC

If you don’t accept someone

2020-10-28 17:53:26 UTC

That’s just as bad

2020-10-28 17:53:39 UTC

The moral wrongs of Christianity have the exact same weight

2020-10-28 17:53:46 UTC

But that weight was carried on the cross

2020-10-28 17:53:58 UTC

Of course we have to repent and trust in Gid

2020-10-28 17:54:01 UTC

God*

2020-10-28 17:54:04 UTC

But it’s not easy

2020-10-28 17:54:20 UTC

Jesus taught us all to be loving of eachother

2020-10-28 17:54:31 UTC

Because no-one is without sin

2020-10-28 17:54:37 UTC

^^

2020-10-28 17:54:57 UTC

thats not what I am arguing about.
